Great video as always. I'd love to hear thoughts specifically about TTT for beginner learners. I mainly teach students who would be classified as being in Krashen & Terrell's "preproduction stage"! They can answer questions and communicate -- but mainly physically (for example, pointing to a classmate when I ask "Who has the ball?") Writing a stem sentence (or however you call it) on the board would be helpful, except they can't read yet. Drilling -- while I find it boring, it helps a little. But they forget it all too quickly and I have to go right back to re-drilling it. I agree that forgetting is part of learning, but constant re-drillings feel like a waste of valuable class time.
