Hi:)! Was wondering if anyone knows a good website where I can find info or lyrics for this band for next time? I spent ages searching the definition of Aidus but could only find the history of a Celtic Saint called Aidus: Can anyone help?

This song is pretty much new (from an unpcoming album actually) so it may be easier to find the lyrics some time later I guess! If you like the celtic sound of Eluveitie I recommend you to react to "Gwydion" by Faun & Eluveitie, a beautiful sounding song and collaboration! :)

Hey Pandora Thanks for this reaction! Just quickly on your research regarding the title of the song. Our song doesn't have anything to do with what you read! ;) The gaulish (early celtic) word "Aidus" became a surname in the later antiquity, especially in the insular celtic areas (in Ireland Aidan is a common surname still today). But yeah... "Aidus" (and that's what our song is referring to) simply means "fire" in gaulish language. cheers Chrigel / Eluveitie

Holy crap Chrigel, this song is incredible! I've been listening to your music since 2008 and I can't get tired of it because it is so god damn good. Eluveitie has been a part of my life for the last 14 years and your music helped me through some tough times... I'm super excited for the upcoming album and can't wait to see you perform live again! For me, this is definitely a 'start the day' song.... on a day when I need to lay waste to a hillside of brambles and thorns. It also works for taking on governmental red-tape and broken login-interfaces. . .. working on patients? Well, it was going ok until the patient asked, "so Doc, what kind of music do you listen to?" I'm not sure the real answer would have been a comfort.... here I am tidying up a fastidious crown prep in a broken down mouth with Criegel's throat-ripping Fry running through my head as I hop hedgerows with a wooden shield and spear... "yeah, I listen to some kinda non-traditional Celtic stuff, and other times I listen to some modern stuff out of Europe'

I think the deer (names are in the credits of the original video) deserve a special shout out. The did very good in the misty forest, acting totally normal as nothing special happens. That is the professionalism needed in a piece like that. Oh and the rest did very well too, of course. There is a reason for the make-up and costumes. They need to outshine the deer as this is more about Eluveitie and their music, understandably.

Yes this is the best folk metal band out there. This song is a masterpiece for sure! The coming months Eluveitie will release more new material because of their upcoing new album later this year, but I don't know exactly when. I don't know if you noticed on Epica's youtube channel, they just uploaded a live video taken from a show they did in the early years of the band in Paradiso Amsterdam. The complete show is just released on DVD/bluray/CD. I pre-ordered the earbook yaaay. Pls react to "Epica - Sensorium (Live @ Paradiso)(OFFICIAL LIVE VIDEO)".
