Lantern player looking at extra information with Pyxis off the rip??? Jeez. Exile face down doesn’t allow you to see it. It’s hidden information.

@lincolnherbert3379 lol cool story- once it is exiled face down to Pyxis activation you don’t get to look at it again. Regardless of if you AND your opponent both know the card. It’s still a hidden zone.

@@ImpactGamingCenter yeah- on top of the deck, not in exile face down. That’s how lantern works. Look into hidden zones and how Pyxis works. ETA: the Pyxis doesn’t take into account the knowledge of the players before, nor the effects of other cards on that card changing zones into the hidden zone, so once the card has changed zones(moved into the Pyxis pile) then the lantern player may reference physical notes taken or have remembered it. They don’t get to reference it at any point once the zone change occurs. Lantern is a very complicated deck, and when piloting it the pulse should understand the nuances of their card interactions.

It’s just an fnm dude it’s not a big deal. If it was a RCQ, RC, or a PT yeah probably a judge call and a warning but damn man it’s known information at casual REL. You sound like the kinda person at a fnm that if the opponent picks the card on a Thoughtseize before they write the hand down you’d swipe your cards back up saying they resolved the spell so they can’t see your hand anymore.
