@Joseph Sokoloski I remember when Michael Jackson died people automatically started to trash talk Elvis, saying Michael was the real King of music. Today it's worse, people want the Beatles Abbey roads changed because the actual Abbey was once linked to slave trades. Others have been calling Elvis " a Southern man from a time of hate and segregation and wanting some Elvis realted things banned and for him not to be called "king". I think it's a matter of time until people start protesting Elvis..
@freedomisntfree20894 жыл бұрын
@Joseph Sokoloski people overlook the fact that the rulers of Africa sold their own poor to America in slave trade agreements. And that south Africa had white slaves, that's all ignored today. The problem is too many "bad cops" and we needed to focus on that for all races, but everything got turned into a media circus and America decided to ban and punish the white race. So now it's seen as wrong to say anyone white was ever great, close airports named after white people such as the John Wayne airport. Take down old statues of whites and replace them with George Floyd holograms, change the name of musical acts, protesters burning cities to the ground and get treated like hero's for doing so. It's open season on whites .Now add in Covid 19 putting a stop to life as we knew it, forced closing , forced mask, America is a no longer a fair and free country , it's nearly a post apocalypse war zone.

No one man should have those looks, that voice, all that talent and overflowing with that much charisma! Well, since it’s Elvis, I guess I’ll overlook it.

love this man, nobody will ever get close to him such a kind and loving man. I was born in 1959 sadly I was young and missed this great man do his stuff, but I've watched his movies and concerts on and DVDs I live in Australia sadly he never toured here it would have been so cool to have him in my country he would have sold out concerts in minutes. keep posting these clips cannot get enough of this great entertainer he's music brings great memories to parts of my life from the birth of my first daughter to the songs my mum and dad loved when they were alive. God bless you Elvis you have given so much joy to millions all over the world.

I don't care what they say about Elvis with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra -- this is stunning work. The orchestra is absolutely insanely good and Presley's voice jumps out like never before. Excellent recording. If only he could have heard himself with this kind of proud backing. There are many rock singers that I love, and they are great -- but Presley in this mode is untouchable. He is just so dynamic.

John LaStrada: I was so impressed with the sound of The RPO, I went out and bought the albums. I am sorry to say, that while I LOVED the albums, I was so disappointed in the final product. The sound mixing is horrible.

I so glad there hasn't been anyone to ever equal him. It makes him that much more special. Who else can do that look right into the camera at about 2 minutes and give you the nod, and you are swept off your feet right there? Not another singer or entertainer of any kind, anywhere, can do that.

It's rare when an artist's talent can touch an entire generation of people. It's even rarer when that same influence affects several generations. Elvis made an imprint on the world of pop music unequaled by any other single performer.-- John Lennon Nothing really affected me until I heard Elvis. If there hadn't been an Elvis, there wouldn't have been the Beatles.
