it's from the movie Viva Las Vegas 1964. Ann-Margret is Swedish originally and some called her the female Elvis due to the way they both felt music ("We experienced music in the same visceral way", she explained years later. “Music ignited a fiery pent-up passion inside Elvis and inside me. It was an odd, embarrassing, funny, inspiring, and wonderful sensation. We looked at each other move and saw virtual mirror images.”) They had an affaire during the movie . They kept in touch after the affair ended until he died. Every time she opened in Vegas he send her flowers. The one time he didn't she found out that he had just died (1977).

If you think his hips are fascinating here you should watch him perform Bossa Nova Baby from the film Fun In Acapulco.

Elvis was truly different. Not just a white guy with rhythm (which is rare enough lol). Elvis was at the TOP of the dance chain. Elvis the rebel already had opened up the music business for many black songwriters who would continue to love to work with Elvis. In the heart of the civil rights movement 1964, Elvis was keeping things fun and light hearted. The real world was falling apart for many. They needed this fun stuff to keep them sane. In a few short years Elvis would go back to rebel rebel aways again, hiring and fighting for black artists in his live shows and it made actual change, ending those black only entrances in venues. If a venue said no black people, Elvis would demand change, privately, or he would do his show.

I love all your Elvis reactions, and the smile on your face when he performs. :) He truly was one of a kind and will never be forgotten. In addition to Viva Las Vegas, my favorite Elvis movie and song is Girl Happy. Perhaps you could react to that.

How revolutionary was Elvis as a dancer...? The best black singer/dancer/entertainer hands down was Jackie Wilson. Noone in show business would disagree. He was a phenom. They knew of each other and would come to each others' shows. Soon they became best of friends. Then they became like family. Yes during the civil rights era. "A lot of people have accused Elvis of stealing the black man's music, when in fact, almost every black solo entertainer copied from Elvis." --- JACKIE WILSON ELVIS' LOVE for black people and artists was WELL KNOWN by all around him. He just was different. When Jackie had an accident onstage, Elvis quietly paid for Jackie's medical expenses until the day he passed away in 1977. Jackie's SON stated recently that before his father's stage accident, he would carry a small signed photo of Elvis in his pants pocket. Every day, bar none. That is how much respect and love they had for each other. Yes, during and after the civil rights movement.

Great commentary as always! I send you a link to Bobby Wilson's interview. I understood that Elvis payed for the medical bills even after his death. Thank you! kzbin.info/www/bejne/poDUXo2cm5t4eK8

The best white dancer (of that style) was undoubtedly Roy Head. Dan Aykroyd of The Blues Brothers was pretty good too.

Ann Margaret had no blueprint to dance like that. She was a natural. Elvis though was on another level of course. They were in love with each other. Many fans feel that he should of married her instead of Priscilla.

Ann Margaret was a trained dancer,, so she knew what she was doing. Elvis was the natural, just doing what felt right to the music.

Don’t forget that this movie had a choreographer! David Winters was the film's choreographer, recommended for the job by Ann-Margret, who was his dance student at the time. This was Winters's first job as a choreographer.

Great reaction on Elvis!! If you want to see some crazy hip and leg movements Please Check out ( Bossa Nova Baby 2:25 ) You already checked out earlier ( Blue Suede Shoes ) but check out the one on the “68” comeback special-black leather outfit-standing up on that small stage he’s playing his guitar and rocking out 🎸 it’s more rock n roll **1973 live in Hawaii ( Steamroller Blues 3:01 ),(You Gave Me A Mountain 3:15 ) powerful voice Elvis is a great storyteller

A great reaction and IMHO one of the best musical scenes from his movies. Film musical sequences was the only way fans could see him perform for about 8 years so these cameos were greatly valued.

Aww~ I'm so glad I caught this Boo! I've always loved this scene~from Viva Las Vegas(I think). You are right, it is very upbeat. It makes me happy. It also makes me happy seeing the look on your face😊 EP and Ann-Margret always had such great chemistry on and off set. She loved him dearly, and he her. He cared for her until his end, even though she was married. For the remaining 10 years of Elvis' life, he and Ann-Margret remained good and loyal friends. When AM made her first appearance on the Las Vegas stage in June 1967, Elvis sent her a guitar~ shaped floral arrangement. He continued sending her flowers to her dressing room for all of her Las Vegas openings for the rest of his life. What a doll! Who does that! I believe flowers showed up for her even after his passing as well. AM was and remains the real deal with Elvis. She has never tried to make a profit off of him like the rest. If only he had married her, or stuck with Anita Wood, his life probably would have lasted longer. Except for that Parker conniving his way and then manipulating circumstances to benefit himself, making Elvis his puppeteer squashing all his dreams and desires with those whacked-out contracts he made Elvis sign. Otherwise E would have never married that Zilla whom caused him so much heartache and pain, along side their daughter, and continues to do so even now through their granddaughter. Sorry Boo, didn't mean to take a downward turn here~ It's alright, I'm back in my happy zone again😊 This is a great scene and a great reaction from you~ I like your sense of humor; your quick wit; and that smile!👍 So keep smiling~ makes the world a better place. Never stop being you Boo! 😉❤

The woman in this video Elvis and she were madly in love throughout both of their lifetimes. They had an affair and Elvis wanted to marry her but it did not pan out. He loved her till the end. She was the only woman who was invited celebrity whom was in attendance at his funeral. She is still alive and states she will always love him. They had an unbreakable bond ❤️❤️ This clip was taken from the movie Viva Las Vegas. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a phenomenal movie fun and you could see in the movie how they loved each other. Take care of my friend and God bless you

She was certainly not the only celebrity or invited celebrity to his funeral. It's widely know that James Brown did not leave his side for 3.5 hours after the funeral service. He & Ann Margaret were the last to leave. God bless them, JB also loved Elvis like a brother. Long live the King ❤

Great reaction! Elvis and Ann...dynamite!! She loved him and didn't get married herself until one week after Elvis married Priscilla. I believe he would have been happier with Ann. Another fun song from this movie is " The Lady Loves Me ". Of course, "Viva Las Vegas " is super good as well.

He is just too cool! 😎 even the slow way he always say's okay!! Definatly some 60s jivin' going on. Anne Margaret was the female version of Elvis, sexy, high energy and hip moves out of this world!! They should have stayed together, they had a year long affair that ended! Anne Margaret always kept quiet about their affair and the details which I respect! So many people dogged on Elvis and cashed in on him after he died with tell all books even from Priscilla... I'm not saying he was perfect and peoplet have a right to share their story but Elvis never divulged anything too personal or threw dirt on anyone when he was alive but people sure did it to him after he died...Anne Margaret never divulged anything too personal other than they loved eachother, had a passionate affair and loved and respected eachother even after the affair ended and I can really respect that maturity! Elvis always sent Anne Margaret flowers for every performance she had up until he died!

You can feel the chemistry between Elvis and Ann Margaret. They became lovers after this film and were very close friends until the day he died in 1977. Ann is 84 this this year. Ann-Margret is the stepmother of the 3 children of her husband Roger Smith, an actor who later became her manager. She and Smith were married for 50 years from May 8, 1967, until his death on June 4, 2017

This was from his great movie "Viva Las Vegas", that was the famous Ann Margaret, called the female Elvis, she could sing dance and act just like he could. As long as you are reacting to his movie songs, please react to the really young Elvis doing "Mean woman Blues' from the movie Loving You" so good. thanks man.

Elvis & Ann Margaret. Priscilla became Elvis' wife. Ann Margaret became Elvis' SOULMATE ♥️ after they filmed this movie, Viva Las Vegas (1964). It was love at first site for Elvis when he first met Ann at the start of rehearsal for the movie. An affair quickly developed. Elvis was not yet married, but Priscilla waited patiently/loyally for Elvis at home in Graceland while Elvis & Ann filmed Viva Las Vegas. Their affair lasted about a year. But eventually, Priscilla found out & their affair ended. However, Elvis & Ann continued to stay in touch with each other, up to the day he died. Elvis gave Ann a secret code name so Ann could get in touch with Elvis at anytime, they were SOULMATES. Up until his death, Elvis would also send Ann flowers when she performed concert residency in Las Vegas. The day Elvis died, Ann opened a concert residency in Las Vegas & she noticed her traditional floral arrangement from Elvis wasn't waiting for her in her dressing room. Ann later said, she knew something was wrong with Elvis that day when she didn't receive her flowers from him. She quickly learned Elvis had passed away. Ann Margaret, & her long-time husband, attended Elvis' funeral. Since they met filming Viva Las Vegas, Elvis & Ann maintained that "special bond" they had for each other. I strongly recommend you react to another great duet they did in this movie titled The Lady Loves Me. You will feel their special chemistry they had for each other. Elvis & "The Female Elvis". Together, they were fire 🔥 I enjoy your Elvis reactions & your channel! Thank you!
