Picturing Lisa Marie borrowing against Graceland isn't hard to imagine. She did not make good financial decisions. But other news outlets have reported the phone number for the company is disconnected and there are no business listings found for it in the state where it's supposed to be based. Sounds kinda fishy.

This would have made the news the day she did it. Only the clueless believe this is true.

@@rolltide9547 Why would this have made news? Is that what a financial institution does when they loan money to a celebrity? How else would anyone else have known?

@@thud9797 You answered your own question. It would have made news because she is the daughter of the most famous musician of all time.

If I was the owner of whatever bank Lisa borrowed from, I would simply just say screw the money, give the property back and just leave the property alone! 😡 They shouldn’t do anything to it and it should stay within their family! Yes, apparently Lisa borrowed the money and used the property as collateral, but it seems like she unexpectedly passed away before she could pay it off! That’s what it SEEMS like! But sometimes death does comes unexpectedly! Tomorrow is NEVER promised! However, it’s still a historic place, the family owned it for many many years, and it’s their gravesite, their burial grounds! It would be dishonoring and disrespecting them if they were to sell or auction off the property to some strange people outside of the family because heaven knows what they’ll do to the property! More than likely have their graves destroyed and their bodies exhumed, when it’s supposed to be their FINAL resting place! 😡 But seriously, they need to just leave the property alone and let them rest in peace for heaven’s sake!

He would say nothing. Elvis would team up with Master Khang Rhee and Bill "Superfoot" Wallace and kick some ass

Born im Memphis in 1959, scams were very commonplace. When Elvis died it got much worse. This would be the most bold scam of them all. I hope the family persists through this.

It’s only a matter of time. As time goes on younger and younger generations don’t appreciate his music. His generation is/has passing on. Plus Memphis is a rough city and the prices to get into Graceland are outrageous. The cheapest ticket is $139 and parking isn’t free My family of 4 paid almost $600 for maybe 2-3 hours. Rip off! Just google the pictures online.
