This is the one where Martina McBride injects herself into his song. Many artist did that with Elvis songs. I as a old Elvis fan personally hate the interference but some people love it. The only person that Elvis ever sang a duet with was Frank Sinatra on Frank's show in 1960 when Elvis came out of the army called "Welcome home Elvis' on tv. Thanks

Someone here might know better but I think the start of this is edited as well so Blue Christmas is not the song Elvis was talking about as his favourite Christmas song. But they edited it for the TV special Edit… looked it up on KZbin and it was Santa Claus is back in Town… there’s a short of him saying his favourite Christmas song and then starting to sing that not Blue Christmas

And when I saw this "duet" I just thought it was a version not used in the original '68 TV broadcast. Thank you for clarifying the origin of this duet. I so agree with you, Belinda. I think Priscilla was behind all of these duets and I really hate all of them. I like the ones with Lisa Marie, but nobody else!! Carrie Underwood screeches her way through "I'll Be Home For Christmas". Priscilla was also behind Michael Bublé singing "Fever" with Elvis.🤮

I must admit... I'm an Elvis-purist. I don't like these Elvis-duets made after his death. Not this one, not the one with Celine Dion. For sentimental reasons I like the ones with Lisa Marie - and feel she has more "reason and right" to do them, -and they actually sounds rather good

I know your a guy.. but as a woman.. this man was just so gorgeous.... those eyes, that voice... Lord have Mercy... and yes Martina has beautiful blue eyes too.. and I love her voice... but she ain't sexy to me.. "My favorite Christmas song..." and in the original '68 Special Elvis sings "Santa Claus Is Back In Town" not "Blue Christmas." Martina McBride wasn't even born until 1966 so yeah, this is a fake; modern technology can be real annoying sometimes.
