Younger people hearing this song for the first time don't realize, that it is about Jesus. When your down and out and all alone and can't find a friend, I will be there like a bridge over troubled water. It's telling you to turn to Jesus when in need and all your hopes and dreams can come true. Jesus is always with you. God Bless!

Anybody who says that Elvis isn't a good singer is obviously tone deaf, or maybe they're completely deaf . Think about it, hundreds of millions of people all over the world think Elvis is an AWESOME singer, and you don't, whoever you might be...You better start thinking there's something wrong with you, because there IS!

It's the music Elvis makes that blows your mind. I have seen ALOT.......ALOT.......... of bands, singers Concerts. And the ONLY one I have ever seen, Were all and I mean all the people, Sat in their seat, Is the Elvis concert, Cause only he had the magic that engulfed the entire crowd as if hypnotized to the God given power that {as 73 years } so far, Has shown. That only he commanded that total control not only his vocals but the Heart, Minds And Souls of his adoring fans , And I thank God And Elvis,That I was one that sat in a seat in Omaha,Ne 6/30/75 8:30pm And I have a very vivid memory of that night and please believe me..... You-tube, Record, Tape or C.D Or the reaction video's does not do him justice. As in person really was the way to feel that unbelievable , Undeniable volt of charisma that give him that powerful vibration to be weak as a willow or wild as the raging sea to move the world in the way he sang from with- in him--- Projecting it out to us.....And that , Is what Elvis did FOR and TO the world!! He was like a f-5 Tornado once in his grip, You could not help but become another ADORING FAN ......................... .......Extra..... People Elvis was and is stil amazing and touching peoples heart even young people who never knew him alive, amazing, why? Well Elvis voice is magical and divine. When he sings a song his voice attracts you and make you float away and sway and then at the end of the song he took his scarf and wipe the sweat of his face and threw away in the audience and everybody screamed! I have such a scarf because as kid I have seen him 5 times in concert and believe me these were the best moments in my life, I like to go to concerts and I did also concerts of other singers and band, but Elvis oooohh boy nobody can come close to him! And that scarf of him, well hehehe that's framed!

Elvis was blessed and we were blessed to hear him ✨. I love your message about the teacher & can relate. I had so much trouble passing my design class & could have given up, even had to repeat the year but then I got a teacher who helped me understand my process and the next year I got my best result. You just need to keep believing and the right people will appear to help things fall into place 🙏

Thank you gentlemen......its fantastic to here young guys appreciating the vocal ability of Elvis....no effects....no backing tracks.... just natural ability......Elvis was ridiculed throughout his whole life for whatever reason but at the end of the day he changed music and culture as we know it today.... if people took time and looked at the facts and the real history people wouldnt be so quick to criticise......sold over a billion records.... his aloha from hawaii show in 1973 was seen by 1.5 billion people......he has had more number 1s than any other artist...600,000 people visit his home each year.....all this and much much more.....and remember there was no MTV, no KZbin, no social media and he never left the USA other than when in the army so it means that anyone that wanted to see him live in concert, as in that video u have just played, if they didnt live in America they would have to travel... people from the UK and Europe, Japan Australia etc.....thank you

I was born in '83. At 11yrs old I became an Elvis fan. Went to Graceland recently and was disappointed that most of the ppl there were of the 'older' generation. Younger ppl (including those from my generation) don't "get" it. His voice and style is only a small part of why he is as amazing as he is. The absolute best. ♥️ him more than words could ever say. THANK YOU for making this video.

You can start by holding EPE and it's affiliates responsible. Elvis delivered, they don't seem to be able to. It's been run by clueless, greedy 'suits' for years and it's not getting better. They've always ran it like a business & now the same crap they've been targeting people with - uhh TOURISTS with things like a rubber duck with his signature on - is getting staler by the minute. They'll never learn, until perhaps 8-16-2027.. Graceland ain't what Elvis is all about no more. Listen to your heart, soul, what you feel. That's ELVIS. - PEACE!

Damn Right, When Elvis Sang a Song it was Sung. I have said that my whole LIFE some people that are Beatle Fans, Jones, ONJ, B.B King Neil Diamond and hundreds. They get so upset cuz it's true. Like you listen to Neil Diamond Sweet Caroline LOL and than hear Elvis's version and his arrangement of Music Get the F out of here, it's crazy ridiculous. He makes them Al sound like Karaoke Singer's. The Beatles Yesterday he blows it through the Roof and takes it to awhile New Iandscape that Paul Nor John could ever Sing any Song and that's Facts. Than he just plays around with Hey Jude Live on Stage which i wish he recorded cuz we would have it. But he must not liked it or something but he just liked the Chorus but he just Sings the Chorus never rehearsed live on Stage with his Band and him humming it alone sounds like an Orchestra. He made Carl Perkins a great friend of his a Multimillionaire with just his #1 Song Blue suede Shoes. They wanted Elvis to record it just Week's after Carl did and Elvis was already huge that Song Carl wrote put him on the Map. If Elvis sang it than he would of killed Carl Perkin's and took the #1 spot and took Carl off the Billboard's Chart. Elvis told them No I ain't doing it, he's my friend he finally made with his hard work that's his Song. And if you want me to do it I'll do it 6-8 months from now. I don't do that to family and friends, but Elvis you'll go to Number #1 with that Song it's about making Money. I don't care about the Money, there's enough Money for everybody. Elvis was already a Millionaire. And Carl Perkin's tells this Story Himself in Tears as he breaks down Crying talking about the kind of Friend and Man Elvis Presley was. He said Elvis didn't have to do that he was the Biggest Star in the world and you could cover anyone's Song. But than Elvis told them and you know what else I'm asking Carl for permission first which he didn't need. And if he's fine with it and if he's not I'm gonna tell him that's okay Carl that's Great No hard feelings. I'm happy for you and proud of you. And if you'll try pulling this crap again having me go over my friend's trying to Record the Dane songs at the same time to compete for #1. I'll make sure to ask the Artist of any Cover Song I do before cutting it. And everyone wanted Elvis to cover and Record there Song cuz Elvis made his Millions Money and they made there's as the Song Writer's whatever the percentage is. But that goes to show The Heart and Soul of this Man. Today these Artist's Rob and step on each other anything to get to the Top. And it happened to Elvis back in the late 1950s. Elvis was Recording in a RCA Studio B and I'm trying to remember the Song. It was gonna be a #1 Song and another Singer who Elvis thought was a friend asked if he could come into to the session to hang out and hear what he's working on. And he's a known Name what a piece of shit this Guy is and was. But Elvis played what he had recorded which was done they were just putting the final touches on it. And the Guy left and Elvis wasn't releasing the Song till the Summer I think. And thus Guy went and Recorded the exact same Version of Elvis's Song. Like how he had the Music Arrangements and all that the Elvis sound. And about 3 Weeks later I can't remember if Elvis was in the Car and the Song came on the Radio and it was a straight up copy of his Version except fir the Guy's Vocals who couldn't Sing or give it a kick in the Ass like Elvis. Elvis F-ing flipped he wanted to Kill that Mother F-ER and The Col wanted to Sue as the song made the Charts I thing it cracked the Top 10. So Elvis's whole Record was trash he couldn't use it or release it cuz it sounded like that Guy's and they would of thought Elvis copied him. But that's Elvis freaking Presley. He said fine that's okay that means the Song sucked and needed a lot more work. And that's when they locked down in closed Recording Sessions when Elvis was in the Studio with Guards especially back in the 50s till he went into the Army you know when the Government tried to officially End his Career like they had been doing for Month's. Most people don't think to themselves about how Weird and Fishy Elvis getting inducted into the Army at the Age of 23 with No WAR. And them having a Draft than and Elvis is getting Drafted at 23 along with a bunch of 18 Year old Kids. It was a set-up he was to old to be Drafted and it is and was against the Law for them to Draft Elvis into the Army. And maybe them being do Poor and never being told thus us why they never knew but I don't understand how nobody told him or got word to him. But you can't be Drafted into the Army or to War if you are the only Male Son in your Family. As the Son is the one who continues the Legacy of the Family. You can only Draft a Son of someone's Family if they have one or more Son's and one must be left behind to continue the Family Tree. So Elvis as the only surviving Child of Twin's of the Presley's could never be Drafted. And things were kinda heating up like they talked about Elvis wasn't in No hotel or out of harms way. He was in the Field in Germany where it was freezing and the Group he was in was one of the Hardest ever. As they had to Sleep 6 Month's out of the Year in a Sleeping bag out in the field in the Snow where it would get below 0 degrees. I think that's why Elvis is so Loved and respected more than any person Entertainer ever. Cuz he was the Richest and mist Famous Man in the World and he was doing every single thing everyone of these young 18 Year old Kids we're doing and not asking or getting out of anything when he could have so easily. He could of been put up in a Hotel Suit and just did his time Entertaining the Troops like most Celebrities who got Drafted Early did. And the Army is the one who got Elvis stated on Pills Uppers which is speed. Which was passed out like candy back then till the 1990s as it helped you lose Weight and kept you up and going so you didn't Sleep. They also started Johnny Cash on those as well and every other Soldier and God knows what else. And he had to stand Guard when it was his turn all Night Long in below Zero, 0 degrees Temperatures. Cuz he had to stand Guard watching the enemies on the other side and he couldn't fall asleep. As they were Watching the American Soldiers as well. And he and all of them needed to take the Pills to stay awake in Guard Duty with there Guns watching the Enemy's in case they started firing. And if you fell asleep you would End up getting frost bite which was dangerous. So you had to move around. But anyways don't know how the Hell I git here but sorry for the long Ass message. But yes the King always dud a Cover and it became his and completely out Sang and made it better than the Originals. Out it this way when Elvis Sang a Song it was Sung Bottom Line.

Elvis Presley was the best of Everything good God made in a man I know to be as famous as he was a trapped in his own Fame prison a everybody always wanting something from him Elvis Presley supported so many people ,,,,a that hard a stessful trying to keep everyone happy including his family I believe when he got older a lost all he loved he turned back to the good Shepard Jesus Christ. He loved Gosple songs the most of all his music. ,,,,a his faith in God never wavered.

Elvis’s 1970 version of Bridge over troubled water is absolutely breathtaking. This is good but the 1970 version whole other level.

Kathy Westmoreland, one of Elvis` background singers, said it brilliantly: "They never captured his voice on record. Elvis`voice was too big. I remember thinking, being with him on stage,I must remember every second of this, because it`s never gonna happen again". Kathy, a classically trained musician, was totally blown away by this man. His voice, charisma and control over his audiences was legendary. He destroyed himself, no one is to blame for his downfall. If you bother reading a little bit about Elvis, it doesn`t take long before you realise that this was a good guy. When he died on August 16th 1977, it was like losing a member of the family. A total one-off, never to be replaced.

I am 74 and have loved him from the time I first saw him.. way back in the day... it took me many years to be able to see him in person... no one will ever compare... since Covid, i have been listening to him more and more.. it has helped me get through this time, as I have had to stay inside for 9 mos. now... so I am grateful, no one will ever come close...he had everything and gave his all to us.. I am happy to see so many young people enjoying him and recognizing how great he was...

@ Brenda isajiw I agree, I'm only 44 and I've been a fan since i was a child. I've yet to see a more beautiful man with such sheer charisma he could command a room just by being it. Straight men and women alike willingly admitted you couldn't take your eyes off him if he was in the room. I've heard many times from other famous people comment on electric aura he wore like cloak around him!

Great reaction. The famous opera singer Luciano Pavarotti once said that if Elvis had had any formal vocal training he may well have been the best opera singer of the century. Crazy to think about. But he actually does an even more mind-blowing of this a few years later. There is live footage of it floating around and he is in a white suit and he's put on a little more weight. It's getting closer to his death but he just killed it.

If I’m in a bad or sad mood listening to Elvis makes me feel good- it’s therapeutic! It’s like a type of food for your soul. So I definitely understand your point : )))

Love watching you guys. I grew up with this always playing. It's in my soul. Saw him live when I was 10 in '76. My kids haven't learned to appreciate him other than 1 son. He can't listen to The Ghetto for getting emotional. So from a old grandma, I'm proud you appreciate him.
