Look at him! No effects, no dancers, no video walls, no nothing but his band and a spotlight mesmerizing people over more then 40 years after he died. Now that's beyond talent, that's a god given gift and that's why he is The King.

Elvis always had a sense fun on stage, and was a bit amused by the reactions he could induce by nothing more than a look or a little wiggle, you can see it in many performances where he's having fun with the audience, you can see that mischeivous little smile when he gets a scream from the gals like he's in on the joke lol, he just had that charisma and incredible talent & great sense of humor that made him special.

Elvis being Elvis--that's what made him one of a kind. Couldn't take your eyes off of him -- you never knew what he was going to do. A true entertainer that kept you entertained!!! Interact with audiences and his bands and orchestras, would tell a story in-between songs and tell jokes--the total package--who else is better????

Elvis could feel a song better than anyone. The looks- the voice- the passion- the dance moves- and the originality to combine them all at the same time. Noone was able to do it to this level, not even Michael Jackson. MJ was trained by choreographers /Elvis learned on his own. He couldn't dance and sing at the same time live on stage he would lipsync, Elvis always sang and danced at the same time.

Another Great review shawn & Mel, The aloha show was the very first ever live satellite recording to go live worldwide buy an artist, it was reported that over a billion people watched the show. The whole show was done to raise money for a cancer charity, and to make sure that everything went right he actually did a full dress rehearsal in front of a full audience to make sure that everything was going to be right on the night of the live satalite show.. He was well known for donating money to charities in Memphis he used to donate to over 50 charities a year donating over $100,000 every year. As well as as buying people cars and paying for their mortgages.

Keep'em coming guys! You mentioned Elvis' movements....they came so natural. It wasn't just silly wiggling, Elvis tried to explain it - he said 'he just did what he felt.' Also saying that it was like it came from the ground up through his entire body in sync with the music driving him. Those bumps and grinds were so innate....hell he would've made a damn good stripper too! LOL. PEACE!

This is a ballad from a 1973 concert. Elvis was so established as a legend that all he had to do is shrug his shoulder or a little movement and the crowd got so excited. You are right, he had a unique way of moving to the rhythm on stage. Yes, he is the greatest in music.
