Here is something BIG to think about :::: The story go's Elvis died on 8-16-77 On that day Joe Esposito {His road manager and buddy} put up a video that has been taken down scent. I had it on my other computer but it is gone, Hey, {it's been 42 years} HOWEVER !!!!! Then later in the afternoon as the world heard the news the story changed to he died in the bathroom around 2:30 pm.................. Why has That video has been taken down { Except in the documentary above } .....Why did Red West said that Elvis's tongue was half bitten off, I would think that would be enough pain to Indeed hear a cry of pain like this could be heard 50 feet away, Yet Ginger did not hear a thing and did not wake up for hours .......Why Then Joe said he tried to give him CPR and mouth to mouth resuscitation and said Elvis was already turning blue........... Yes, let the poor man rest in peace is right. If he were to fake a death, it would have taken a lot of planning. Not to mention that if they found him he'd go to jail for a very long time. It would be much easier (and legal) for him to change his name, get plastic surgery and re-locate to a new home far away -- assuming a private life is what he wanted to achieve. It would be almost impossible to fake a death and not get caught.

It's like believing these phony-@$$ psychics. They get that information ahead of time. In some cases, the "psychic" is wearing some kind of earpiece. Someone off stage is "feeding" them information through it to make it appear they are reading minds or telling the future. Some faith healers have been known to do this. So many people here are missing the point. At the time this aired, people all over the country were declaring Elvis sightings. People were convinced that he was still alive and could not accept the King of Rock and Roll had died. Arsenio Hall even commented on Elvis being dead in one of his monologues to help viewers get it. The Tonight Show fed off of that part of history--which is reasonable. If this sketch aired today, it would be unfunny and "let him rest in peace" is appropriate. Remember to utilize the historical lens of context when looking back in time.
