He had such effortless voice control, vocal range, and a sound that no one else has ever come close to. That is why there are so many Elvis impersonators. People always want to imitate the best and he was in a category all by himself. You cannot say that about any other entertainer in the history of music.

On 19th May 1971 at RCA Studio B, Nashville, Elvis recorded three songs alone at the piano. "I Will Be True", "I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen" and this one (The best of the three) "It's Still Here". He also overdubbed the bass guitar himself on all three tracks, but the versions released with just Elvis and the piano are better.

Elvis his piano and his beautiful vocals, just perfection Elvis was pouring his heart out here, his vocals are so plaintive , haunting and eerie, almost in tears, just gut wrenching to listen to . Elvis, marriage began to falter very shortly after his vows, we can all speculate as to the many reasons but without being there really none of us know nor do we have any right too. Any marriage that irretrievably breaks down is very sad but even more so when a child is involved, hence why Elvis put his own feelings aside and thought only of his daughter's welfare. Elvis at a very young age became so trapped in a world that was so alien to every fibre of his upbringing,he became nothing more than a commodity, a cash cow and used and exploited by many simply to live to the image and all it entailed. He wanted to make it work, knowing that most of what was expected and asked of him wouldnt have been his first choice, those demands couldn't come naturally, and I'm trying to put this delicately here but extra help was required, he was after all a rock and roll star. To be the image sadly he lost sight of Elvis the person and his private and personal life suffered dramatically. As Elvis aged and suffered with many debilating and painful Illnesses ,, the demands on his body were just too much, he'd realised hed been living a charade and those around had simply enabled him, he had time to reflect and certainly after the divorce even more so dwelled on the past, his sadness and many regrets first and foremost most on his m ind, torturing himself he sank into deep despair. His friends should of stepped aside as they said they couldn't get through to him, impartial help should of been given and who knows what may have happened. I always sais Elvis wore a painted smile, and no-one saw past it, not just in the last months but for 4 years at least, Elvis didn't just become sad and lonely overnight it was a slow progression exacerbated by his worsening pyhiscal and emotional state at the end , it could of and should been prevented. The saddest thing of all Elvis never stopped loving cilla and he never allowed his heart too either .

Well look at Elvis career before he met Pricilla his songs were happy and joyful after he met her, his music went from happy to down hill all he sang was songs like you said you never leave me, I still love you etc just heart broken songs they were so said it makes you cry looks like he just could get over her. How is Pricilla a trouble? I will always Love Elvis Presley but my man was not a faithful husband to her. My guy trained her to be the kind of woman he wanted her to be. Respect goes both ways. All Pricilla wanted was to be LOVED instead my guy was Loving on all other woman. I’d do the same thing. He can’t have his cake & eat it too.
