My first time watching you and I enjoyed your reaction! I think that you would really enjoy Elvis in his 1968 TV “Comeback Special” performing “Trying to Get to You”. Now this is fire!

Even though you're familiar with Elvis' songs (but probably not all 700+), it's fun watching you discover his performances. Elvis had no formal training and couldn't even read music, but he arranged songs, produced records, and directed the band with his body movements. Two of his drummers said playing for him was like backing up a stripper (and one of them had actually done this). I think it was his last drummer, Ronnie Tutt, who said "as far as I know we're the only band that's directed by an ass".

Based on the couple reactions I've seen so far, I know you would get a huge Bang out of his iconic Suspicious Minds performance when he's much older than this. It's in Vegas for sure and he's in a white jumpsuit but I think it's around 1970. There are a couple live versions floating around but this one is considered by most to be super iconic. It just captures so much about his ability to perform even years after this, I think he only got better and better. He works the audience and he loved his band and his band loved him and you can see this because there's a lot of behind the scenes footage of them practicing I mean not nearly enough but enough to get an idea of how cool it was. But in that suspicious minds, not only does he athletically do almost impossible things for a normal human being. You'll know you have the right version when he wanders over to the Sweet Inspirations which is the name of his backing vocalist choir although there's a whole another one with JD Souther who is that incredible base and it's like three or four guys so they all got along so well but in this live version of suspicious minds he wanders over and just fucks with her. They did this all the time anyway in real life but it's just hilarious to see on stage it's just such a magical moment.

I'm like your mom, but I lived the 50's and liked the movie but if you really like to see more about him in the beginning and what he went thru. You need to see "Elvis Presley and the Black Community.". Some real shows where he moves, " Polk Salad Annie". And "Patch it Up", of course "In The Ghetto ". Is soulfull. Love your reaction.
