Elvis really focused here. He felt every word of this. God bless his aching heart.

So many great Songs like this I wish he did Live. I wished he got to do a Tour & it was just Elvis on Stage like he did in 68 first ever unplugged. But they did the Stage all up to look like Graceland's *Jungle Room* & have Elvis just relaxed Cool, calm Piano, Guitar all Set-up when he wanted to move to where-ever & let him just be him & Sing what he wants to & it could be different than his regular Tours. It could be a "Elvis" *Way Down In The Jungle Room* which if he would have lived to today with the Arena they built across from Graceland this is the kinda thing Elvis would have done put on Concert's live at his own Arena which he owns. I bet you Elvis would of ended up buying the *Memphis Coliseum* that's for sale which all the Teams played at & he performed so many times at. Smart move & the way he loved Football I bet anything he would of bought & owned The Titans espesh back before the Name change & all that as they were horrible & he might of got in on The *Memphis Grizzlies* Back to Music wish he Sang so many of the great Songs he recorded which he has so many that I believe would & should of been #1 & Top 5 or 10 Hit Songs but it was always the same even for the TV Specials which I don't get why or how nobody said Elvis you need to change up the Set-List work in 5-8 New Songs & even tho from him doing his Set-list that now i'm use to & just love i wouldn't know which to take out. But like I love when he on a random night did a Song he loved & said it was the story of his *Life Fairytale* by *ONJ* which just sounded like it was written for Elvis & when he Sang it you could tell every Word meant something. Just like *My Way* which i'll fight anyone on that any time that Song is played they always play Sinatra but Elvis took over that Song & he owns it & Singing wise life Story it all hits home. That Song feels & should have been written for Elvis cuz nobody Sings it like him & not Frank who sorry he is not a great Singer he is a singer-talker but he didn't live or do anything his way he did it the Mafia way LOL Elvis did it his way. All the Songs he Sang & Recorded at Graceland which was his last recordings. I love that entire *Jungle Room* Album those Sessions I wish they were rolling Video Film which is the only thing missing to have & see Elvis chilling relaxing walking around joking inside of his home Graceland that footage would be worth more money than any Elvis Concert damn them as we can only dream how great that would have been them setting up & cameras just rolling & Elvis for once not giving 2 F$$Ks kindalike Jordan's Last Dance have cameras with him the whole time those 2 years up to his death even tho nobody knew & they should of done the same with the 1968 comeback all the way to his return to Vegas 1969. And again the entire year lead up behind the scene's to Aloha From Hawaii but we are talking about Col Parker dumb A$$ who didn't record MSG or The Astrodome & again really how does the single biggest GOAT ever only play MSG SMH & they were loaded & why didn't they have their own Video crew & record everyone of Elvis Concerts my God can you Imagine we would have each & everyone & tapes concerts were huge sales back than & to have your own video library espesh the way Elvis worked he would of had more Movie Concerts than Turner Classic. The Jungle Room Album & Elvis Country Album has lived in my Car's for the last 4-5 year's whenever it came out i think longer & the other in my truck so I have one in both Cars & not have to switch out CD & 3rd one closed in my Collection.

Keep back coming to this. It's so melancholy as at 1975 he was probably at the point of no return, but still had a good voice. This song realy reflects elvis's life

Wish "ELVIS" performed this Song on his Set-List along with the Country Album this was on which is unreal. It's one of those Albums where I have had in my Truck & Car for the last 5-6 year's & just play it on Loop. I wish he Sang so many Songs to me are just out of this World that nobody could perform like him during his Shows instead of the same Songs over & over espesh the last 5 or so years but after 73 74 it was really No more touching of the setlist. But Man even some of his Movie Songs I would of loved to hear him Sing the last couple years 68-77 like "Please Don't Stop Loving Me" which to me is a #1 Hit Song if Elvis released that in the 50s but cuz it was in the Beatle Era & the Hippie crap drugs & let's face it a lot of shitty music was over hyped & punk/grunge which like Disco was a phase cuz you were never stopping or killing Rock. Just like I wished they started more practice on his Last Album "Moody Blue" which that Song sounded like it was from the 1980s & you could tell Elvis Music was changing Big Time as even today Moody Blue has that it feeling where it could be released today & holds up i can't explain it as it doesn't sound like any of Elvis other Songs. The Rock that Elvis did & started he took & created his own Rock & Roll & turned it into Country Rock, Blues, Pop & he could Sing it like nobody else could. The funny part is if Elvis did a Cover of a Hit Song I don't care who it was "Neil Diamond" *Sweet Caroline* Great hit Song but go listen to Elvis Version of Sweet Caroline & i'm talking about every Live Version SMH forget it Neil Elvis takes the Song to another place. The way he produces it with back vocals which many people don't even know that Elvis was a great Producer & Produced all his Music he helped he had the ear for it & as a Singer, Rapper, Song Writer, Producer & hearing what nobody hears knowing what you want hearing the Song complete in your head before the other's it's hard to explain. It's like Writing & Directing a Movie your so full of ideas & creativity just comes to you it's something your just born with.

Elvis was so wonderful that we forgot about the TCB... In his last years Presley rambled a lot and forgot the beats and the lyrics... Still the band followed him as if the song had been written like that from the beginning. .

Man, this is such a fantastic song. I can’t help but wonder, sometimes, and hear me out before anyone gets upset. But, did being labeled The King of Rock and Roll (which he indeed was), keep him from being marketed more successfully as a country artist? It just seems that maybe there was a group of individuals involved wouldn’t welcome someone who would become King of Country music. Especially, already crowning Hank Williams as such, because Elvis would have been bigger than everyone in country music. Much like rock and roll, there is Elvis, then everyone else. If he could have transitioned into a more country artist, which is what his musical tastes were graduating to, he would have become the same with country music. There is Elvis. Then, everybody else. Including Hank, George Strait, Garth Brooks, etc. Maybe I have “chilled” too much tonight and overthinking things again. 😬. Back to the music.

Derek Myers 0 seconds ago Elvis' recorded country music all throughout his career, an album called Elvis Country, and his last several albums were pretty country, so I don't think he was slowed down by a title he didn't take seriously anyway. Thank you for your question.
@davidkaufmann98642 жыл бұрын
Elvis had 3 distinct portions to his career. The rockabilly artist, the actor and the Vegas act. Those artists though they were the same were vastly different and at times no longer could or wanted to relate to each other. 50's Elvis died after going into the army, actor Elvis died when he quit doing movies in 1969. What we were left with was Vegas Elvis who no longer related to rock and roll and actually did not even really like contemporary rock and roll. He was more just singer at the end of his life without really a genre he could really call his own. He also dabbled into a little of opera style of singing with Hurt and Unchained Melody. So I would call Elvis a jack of all trades but a master of none. He was the Swiss army knife of singers lending his voice to each and every genre.

@@davidkaufmann9864 If any, he was a master of EVERYTHING. And I agree about the Oprea part - the greatest and more known examples were "An American Trilogy" and even "How Great Thou Art"

Elvis was not the king of rock and roll. Someone radio disc jockey called him that and it stuck. Lil Richard started rock and roll but no air time and we know why nuff said!
@johnbarry29998 ай бұрын
Elvis wasn't a one trick pony unlike the one in your opinion who was king of rock n roll. And no Richard didn't start rock n roll. Fats Domino was before him. Don't leave home without the card.
@anamariapalau16127 ай бұрын
@user, Elvis himself said he wasn't the king, the only King is Jesus, but we all know that he is probably the only King of Music!
@cesarebonventre123 ай бұрын
You don’t have to invent something to be the King right? Muhammad Ali its called “The king of boxing” and he didn’t invented it no? Was invented by a white person if you want to go that way 😊
