Before 'Tombstone," legendary actor Kurt Russell had a role in an Elvis Presley 1963 movie, "It Happened at the Worlds Fair."
Kurt Russell made his screen debut in this movie and plays the boy who kicks Elvis Presley in the shins, of course a lady nurse was the reason. Recalling the scene years later, Kurt says that he didn't want to do it, as Elvis was such a huge star. He also stated that Elvis was very nice man with thousands of fans swarming around his car on the movie lot.
Kurt's Elvis connection did not stop there, in 1979, Kurt landed the role as Elvis, in a made for TV biographical film, "Elvis." Many critics have stated that Kurt portrayed Elvis very well and is one of the best who have stepped into those blue suede shoes.
Then came "3000 Miles to Graceland." Although Kurt is playing a fictional character, he puts on an Elvis jumpsuit and we can see that Kurt still can captures the essence of Elvis. "3000 Miles to Graceland," became a cult heist movie and also stars Kevin Costner. Kurt and Kevin's characters team up where they play criminals who rob a Las Vegas casino during an Elvis convention.

I loved Kurt as Elvis in the 1979 TV movie Elvis. I always he did the best job portaying Elvis up till I saw the Elvis 2022 movie starring Austin Butler after that movie I'd have to say it is a toss up they both did an amazing job portraying Elvis and Butler even did his own singing in the movie. Hats off 2 both guys.

Yeah up till the 2022 I always felt Kurt Russel did the best job portaying Elvis. Now I just believe Kurt and Austin have done the best. Plus I di feel Austin and the movie was robbed of any awards from the Oscars. Thank u 4 tour feedback.

I've being in and out of three hospitals for day operations i got a ptosis operation on my right eye lid a lift on it and i got a cataract out of my right eye John and i got a basal carcinoma cancer soar removed from my left eye lid to john it wasn't the serious cancer but it was a cancer lump on my left eye lid John I'm doing fine now after the 3 surgery's and i got told that i have a cataract in my left eye lid to get taken out and I've to get my left eye lid done aswell but not until next year 2025 john
