Thanks for your great reaction, been a fan since 1956 when I was 12. I never get over him. He is just as exciting today as when he started. You are a good reactor. Be Blessed.

First time watching you and I love how much you enjoyed it. You are right, he was an entertainer and everybody loved watching him. Elvis played the guitar and piano but he liked playing around with the drums, too. This is when he does a lot of his movements, to the beat of the drums. Poke Salad Annie (live Las Vegas), American Trilogy, I Did it My Way are Elvis at his best. His Gospel songs are all beautiful and he feels every word. I've subscribed and look forward to more reactions. Also a great entertainer is Otis Redding at the Monterey Music Festival live. I've Been Loving You Too Long, Try a Little Tenderness and These Arms of Mine are ones I know you will enjoy.

Elvis was very athletic. Such flexibility. His karate moves and stretches just beautiful. His moves were spontaneous and not choreographed. Every performance was different. Even his musicians had to keep their eyes own him and responded to his body language. Very unique and there will never be anyone like him.

Yes - you have it! Links are important. People make requests to look at songs & performances but Elvis did many versions of his songs & many performances -- how are you to know where to go -- also, some versions are not good quality. Thank you. Background info for the song: Written by Mark James in '68 is based on one night when James was fooling around on his guitar & came up with what he thought was a catchy melody. At the time, he was married to his first wife but still had feelings for his childhood sweetheart, who was married back in Houston. James' wife had suspicions about his feelings. He felt it was a confusing time for him and that all three were "caught in this trap that they could not walk out of."

Aaaaaaaalways look for the live version lol. Elvis wasn’t only the greatest studio singer that ever lived, but he was also the greatest on stage performer. From Michael Jackson to James Brown to prince to Freddie Mercury to Bruce Springsteen to Beyoncé they all got to learn how to be a real superstar from Elvis Presley including his stage presentation.

😂😂 not black people learning from a white man who learned everything from black people 😂 that’s hilarious. Never in my life have I heard MJ say he learned stage presence from Elvis. This is a young reactor, don’t lie to her. If you have proof of this, share your source, I’d love to see it.

@@user-se2wi8ml9y You clearly do not have the historic knowledge necessary to comment accurately. Elvis was a pioneer in many ways. All musicians play off genres that were already created before them. What made Elvis different is that he rearranged a handful of genres into a new genre that attracted a new demographic- young people. Elvis helped to create rock and roll and everything changed during his time - all races were profiting from their creations - Elvis did a lot, and he enriched many around him with his own successes. As for Elvis and black musicians of his era and the ones before him, THEY SPOKE UP FOR ELVIS. Elvis MERGED AND ARRANGED Gospel, Country and R&B to create A NEW HYBRID SOUND & STAGE PRESENTATION that attracted YOUNG PEOPLE of all races and turned off the OLDER elites in the 1950s. GOSPEL MUSIC: White people were singing Christian music since BEFORE the birth of Jesus Christ. Modern Gospel was influenced in large part by white Christian music. There were black and white practitioners in churches down South in Elvis' growth era (1935-55). Elvis was inspired by BOTH. THE BLUES: The blues were invented by black musicians. COUNTRY MUSIC: White people invented Country and Rockabilly music. The first recordings of what now is considered traditional country music were "Arkansas Traveler" and "Turkey in the Straw" by fiddlers Henry Gilliland & A.C. (Eck) Robertson on June 30, 1922, for Victor Records. Elvis changed EVERYTHING and opened up NEW BUSINESS MODELS for black songwriters and even fought with VENUE OWNERS to allow black musicians to walk in and out of the SAME ENTRANCES AND EXITS that white people used. Elvis Presley had a VERY UNIQUE STYLE and NOBODY LOOKED OR SOUNDED LIKE HIM. Nobody. LITTLE RICHARD - "He sung my Tootie Frutti & by him singing it, made it bigger & made ME bigger" And then he said: “I thank God for Elvis Presley. I thank the Lord for sending Elvis to open the door so I could walk down the road...”- Little Richard JACKIE WILSON: "A lot of people have accused Elvis of stealing the black man's music, when in fact, almost every black solo entertainer copied from Elvis." --- JACKIE WILSON

@@user-se2wi8ml9yyou don't know that The Jackson 5, Joe, and Elvis Presley used to hang out in Vegas? and Jackie Jackson has praised him in many interviews. And Michael has said "I will never forget him" And of course Michael married Elvis' daughter. Source: Joe Jackson's many interviews, Jackie Jackson for USA Today 2013, and Michael Jackson for ABC News 2001. Stop making drama where there is none.
