King Creole was probably Elvis’ best movie. He really showed that he could act. It’s worth your time. He played a bad boy in his early films. It wasn’t until he got out of the army in 1960 and tried a couple of serious films that bombed that he did all those romantic musicals. He was practically a villain in Loving You and Jailhouse Rock.

Hey pretty lady, been a fan since 1956, now 80. He was a good actor, this was one of his best movies, also "Jailhouse Rock" and "Loving You". Once his greedy manager found out Elvis movies made money he started the formula movies that Elvis hated but was locked into contracts he couldn't get out of. Anyway his movies kept making movie. Elvis was a generous humanitarian. see, " Elvis Presley King of Kindness" or "Elvis Presley A Generous Heart". He sang everything from gospel to opera. Thanks and Be Blessed.
