This is my absolute favorite song. I had two aunts that came to live with us one was 10 & one was 12. I was around 4. They were like my big sisters not my aunts. I lost one to breast cancer in 2009. She was also like my second mama. 😢 I miss her beyond words. I love her so much. But because I grew up with them I grew up listening to Elvis, Ricky Nelson, The Beach Boys, The Everly Brothers , Chuck Berry etc. Then I had my era of music from the 70s. Greatest era ever! But Elvis was my all time favorite of their era & The Osmonds were my all time favorite of my era. I always loved Lisa Marie. I love to hear her sing & she was the spitting image of her legendary daddy. He was still with us through Lisa Marie. I've been to Graceland so many times. Each time I'm there I can feel Elvis' presence everywhere in the house & on the grounds. Now we've lost Lisa too. I've not been there since she passed but I'm sure I'd be able to feel her presence too. Graceland was her "home" no matter where Priscilla had her living. But to hear them sing this together just brings tears to the eyes. It's just beautiful. This is one of the songs to be played at my funeral. I'm so glad Elvis & Lisa Marie & Benjamin & Gladys & Vernon & the rest of the family are once again united in Heaven with our Lord & Savior & are at peace. Thank you both for all the wonderful music & memories that will live on until eternity. We will love y'all forever. 😔❤️

My hope is that she is with Jesus! I dont know if she confessed with her mouth that "Jesus is Lord and Savior of her life" and believed that "Jesus was raised on the third day"...I am sure she was told about Jesus from her daddy! As I certainly do not want to falsely state anything that isn't true of Jesus...but I know He accomplished/finished His Most Precious Masterpiece upon the Cross! Clearly she was searching for the Truth, when her son died! Sharing her deep pain in an essay, was in essence, a testimony of her struggles! My grandmother passed away in 2007 and my brother last year in April. Elvis was my grandmother's best favorite singer. One more month until my brother marks one year after his passing. Honestly, I'm in tears. This song sung by Elvis and worked out so beautifully here to bring his little girl into it, just hits the very core of my being. You know I never thought Lisa could sing until I heard her sing with her father. She was going up against the greatest singer in the world and boy did she hold her own . Also he was not alone and sad at all, at this time of his life. His father was living, as was his grandmother and was married to his pregnant wife which made him happy as ever. Sure, he missed performing live, but he was already recording better songs and the year after was his comeback! Thirdly, I am an Orthodox Christian and LOVE Christ, more than my life. I'm sure Elvis loved him as well, BUT was a very bad fornicator, and later on an adulterer, and a taker of narcotics. No Matter how many gospel songs you sing, these sins, unless confessed and repented WILL NOT according to our Lord and Savior, be forgiven. So I hope for his eternal souls sake, in the end he confessed and repented of these most terrible sins. God bless, and pray for me please, a much greater sinner than Elvis.

Thank you, with all my heart, to Elvis, his beautiful daughter, and whoever highlighted the comment I wrote the first time. As a result, I was sent a notification, which I followed by listening to this song again. The first time I listened I loved the song for its beauty, this second time it deeply touched my heart. I am still crying as I write this thank you. In this song, the father and the daughter sing the words that are literally in my prayers and in my heart. The message is real for them, and it is for me. First, between me and my father (for his absence from my life...and me from his.) My Father also had unfullfulled dreams he wanted to accomplish for my mother, before he died. And now, both my Mother and my Father have passed away, oftentimes, I have felt there is only me trying to accomplish the dreams of a real home, happy times, and happy memories for our family. Wrapped up in this song...the Presleys---both Father and Daughter---have managed to successfully communicate through time their hearts' desire. I have these same needs and dreams for myself and our family. I miss my parents with all of my heart. I love my children and grandchildren with all of my heart and have wanted so badly to bring my dreams and my parents desired for our family nto fruition...not only before I die, but soon enough to live it with them. I realize now, as I write, that my heartache, and my desires, are shared with my entire family--both passed, present, and future--and that includes, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven. I am most grateful for the immediate gift of this song and, also, for the second, and lasting gift. I have been reminded that...the whole world, comprised of individuals and their families, also have these same heartaches and share these dreams. In feeling and seeing this, I am comforted in the knowledge that as I work to take care of these needs and dreams in my immediate family, then together with the same life and dreams in mind, we become empowered by our gratitude and love to better succeed in respecting and serving our human family, and all life that shares and our earthly home : given to us by Our God, the Eternal Father. I am grateful for the answer to my prayers that has come to me in this unexpected way. I am no longer crying nor do I feel like I am standing alone.

Oh my Lord .This child has been singing the wrong sort of music . LIsa sounds absolutely fantastic here . I never thought she could sing until hearing this . what a stunning vocal performance by Lisa Marie up against the best singer in the world.... her Dad. Im so impressed with her . she gave me goose bumps .
