For years this ranch has fallen on hard times based on other KZbin videos I’ve seen. Glad it’s finally getting the respect & TLC it deserves. Thanks, Sherri

This is wonderful that they are restoring and preserving Circle G. I know it was backward and forward for several years about it.. Thanks for all of the wonderful work to get Cirgle G on the National Historical Registry.. Looking forward to visit it soon.

I lived next door to the Ranch from 1967-1969 in Manns Trailer Park. Its about 1 mile south of the Ranch at Highway 301 and Nail Road. :) We watched Elvis & friends ride horses out there and come & go from the gate there. I remember when the Honey Moon Trailer was parked behind the Ranch house there. :) I am the "Memphis Trailer Park KID!" TCB ( I also later served in Germany in the same Unit at Ray Barracks where Elvis was stationed. (1980-1983)

Hello from England ELVIS died 2 days before my 12th birthday and i have been a FAN ever since. OH MY I only "found" you a few weeks ago and then it took me some seconds to connect you to Marty, your late father. I have been watching lots of videos and it makes me think more about the time that has passed - over 50 years. They loved ELVIS and looked after him and i hope that they died HAVING NO REGRETS. I have recently watched "ALL THE KINGS MEN" and have to admit i have cried buckets but to be HAPPY that they had for most part A GREAT LIFE. .In England we have blue plaques. A permanent sign installed in a public place and elsewhere to commemorate a link between that location and a famous person, event or former building on the site, a historical marker so to speak. Its great to see this marker so it is similar, slightly bigger and from this video it looks like dark green

Great video, hope you’ll check out our Circle G Foundation (the private foundation you refer to - we are a non profit) official video which will be posted in a few days. I think you’ll find my dedication message interesting! Thanks for helping to publicise the marker sponsored by Elvis’ fans around the world. It’s very much appreciated. Lesley Pilling, Founder and Director of The Circle G Foundation.

Hi Sheri! I hope all is well for you and the family. I have a question. I have been reading Donna Lewis' book part 2 and she had mentioned that Elvis was given a bunch of horseshoe tie tack pins from the man at the Gulf Gas station in 1967 by the ranch. Since you were a child at the time, do you ever remember receiving one of these little double horseshoe pins from Elvis or your dad?

I HONESTLY DONT SEE THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS PLACE BEING ELVIS HAD IT LESS THAN 2 YRS AND SOLD IT YEARS BEFORE HE DIED. HAD HE STILL OWNED THE JOINT WHEN HE PASSED I THINK IT WOULD BE OF SIGNIFICANT IMPORTANCE WITH RESPECT THAT IT IS ELVIS HISTORY.

Road Glider, it was a place he truly loved, that came to him at an important turning point in his life and career. The fun and relaxation and the beauty of the place brought him clarity of mind and a rejuvenated spirit to deal with the changes being married, becoming a father and transitioning back into his career as a singer and performer with the coming 68 Comeback Special.
