As a Southerner, I couldn't get over how real the sets felt. I also could not believe how Austin nailed the accent. Most of the time, the accent comes off as a parody, which we find slightly offensive. 😆 But he sounds so accurate, I couldn't believe he wasn't raised in the South.

I really hope this movie and all its contribiters are applauded and showered with awards. The sets, costumes, cinamatograph, acting, direction music, and storyline, were absolutely amazing. This is one of the most entertaining movies I have ever seen. Wasn't expecting much going in but was blown away. All the Aussies deserve very high praise from the Elvis community for what they have done for his legacy. Fist movie I've seen more than once!

I've seen Elvis 19x in the theater and twice more on my phone. It's very easy to break it down. The first hour is mostly 1950s. The last 90 minutes is split of 1960s & 1970s.
