Jonathan Simpson Sorry you sound so jaded. My husband and I listened to this song then and still do today. Last night we were remembering those days through the beautiful concert of Roy Orbison. Music creates feelings of all types happiness, love, sadness, etc. Being transported back in time with beautiful music can be a magical feeling. We have had fifty-seven years together and share so many wonderful memories. I hope that you have some of those wonderful feelings through music. Try a little positive thinking, not everything is bull. Wishing you all the best truly.

I swear to you that I am struggling to find the words to express my love for you, but it is becoming impossible for me, there is no way to express how much I love you, I only have to thank God for putting you in my life, and for your life on this earth. This was my parents wedding song. I lost my father when I was pretty young. He loved this song and sang it all the time in the car. I was so embarrassed as a kid. Many many years later I’m learning to play the guitar and have to learn the song. I may never fall in love again but it would be awesome to play and sing it for my mom before she’s gone too. Wish me luck! It’s hard to listen to it without tears in my eyes. I need all the help I can get. *Update... I am getting notifications of all the supportive comments but when I look at the comment thread I can’t see them. Thank you everyone! I am working it! It’s only been 3 weeks, but I can say it’s really helped me learn. For all of the guitarists, switching to the F chord has been the biggest challenge for me. This song is full of F chords. 😆

My dad passed away last year and this was my mum and dads wedding song. I listen to this song often when I miss him, it brings me comfort. Thank you Elvis x

I can relate. My father also passed away last year and this was their wedding song. It’s hard but at least we have our memories and music. Sending you warmth 🤍
