Hi :) I try answer to everything. For first time - every track you can hear in my sets are from anyone else. Im not music producer, just dj. Almost 20y I buying vinyls (and digital tracks now) and playing it on events. But I dont create music, I just worship producers, which makes this amazing music :) Usually I playing really hard drum and bass, tech step, hard step, neuro on events. People expect it from me. But I really love deep and liquid too and I have lot of vinyls of it, so I mixing "home sets" like a relax and uploading them on my youtube or soundcloud. Love this mix! Your winter mixes always make the cold much more bearable! haha I think I may actually start to get back into DJing soon. I mentioned to you that I used to DJ in the 90s and 00's exclusively on vinyl. One of the reasons I quit was because at the time, i hated that everything was going to CDJs instead of the 1200s. Do you find it's easier to mix on the CDJs, or about the same as vinyl? Also, are those the CDJ2000s? I think i'd probably get the lower model - maybe the 900 i think they are, and save more money for a better mixer. I'm also curious why (And this is not just you) almost NO DJ that i've seen uses the crossfader anymore....everyone uses the volume levers to mix in a new track. That seems so unusual to me, as I've always used the crossfader in the past! Thanks (btw this is @onismlife). haha

Hi, thank you :) So, lot of people hate everything which is not vinyl till today :D My olny reason why I playing vinyl so long time is very simple - I didnt have money for buying cdjs and I dont want sold my 1210MK. Never ever. But financial situation last year was quite good and we bought this Pioneer CDJ2000 as a second hand. And I love them! But its really different. When you want get from this machine great set, you must work on it. You must learn a new way, you must have prepared tracks in Recordbox (I bought around 250 new tracks during summer 2019), you must use to it has around 50 buttons more than Technics :D When you learn it, its great. Not easier, different, same good. But in every part of plaing cdjs, I have a big big big benefit I play vinyl for long time, beacuase this experience is irreplaceable ;) Eh, mixing technique....I cant tell you why :) I dont know for any reason I should use crossfader. I like mixing two tracks long togerher. Crossfader is on middle. For getting track "out" (after I compare bpm) I use fader and after then I work with volume levels for bass, middles and highs .) This gently mixing two tracks and on one while makes a new track :) If you understand me :D

@@ElwiraDj I'm always impressed with just how good your english is! Thanks so much for the response, it definitely helps. Again, i've only ever mixed on vinyl (and LOVED it) so the thought of mixing files is still very weird to me. And yes, I am quite intimidated by "all the buttons" as you said. haha Vinyl just feels very straightforward and requires much more precision. I actually thought about the CDJ900's mainly because they have less features and buttons, and maybe got a bit closer to feeling like a vinyl setup. But, i also found lots of CDJ2000's on sale used for the same price! By the way, you can still buy the Technics 1200s, they are just $1000 each (in the US). Thanks again!

Hello ELWIRA, to be honest did not think that girl can play D&B usually it was not music for girls, had been listening D&B since Aphrodite , black sun empire you should know them :) long time listening D&B and breakbeat , after your set on Hoofbeats ..... I changed my mind and can say you with your speedy tracks with background music and kind of front same time .....it’s amazing ..... it’s kind of different than regular D&B beats which is became boring already :( keep going that way !!! You my number 1 right now ! I am pretty sure you will be one of the best D&B music Producers in the world !!! Once I told that to Armin van Buuren in regular club 12 years ago ....... when he was just regular dj guy in club for 30 people. Just keep playing different than others ...... if you can share you Facebook I can cut your set and show you best parts from It, to my mind ......I think I am as a dancer and listener can share my opinion if you interested and you can produce best of you ..... and it will be best on KZbin and everywhere !
