Is this up on the Brecons ? I used to vist my nan every summer at Anchor not far from the Brecon. One day a Harrier appeared and saluted me with his fingers, he was that close and hovering. He then put on a blank tracer show firing at one of the barns ahead. I was in love with the Harrier from then on The next day he saw me and did a full roll over the cottages 😂 You have to be a little bit crazy to be one of those guys I guess. My uncle was a retired RAF engineer at the time, I'm sure he was putting someone up to it, deffo impressed a 7 year old me. I'm sure it was set up because my family knew I loved the Harrier.

I work in construction on a project about 2 miles from Luke AFB near Phoenix, AZ. Every day, a squadron of F-35s conduct flight ops. Their downwind leg of the pattern is in line with the site. We can't carry on a conversation without shouting when they fly over. If they perform a take off on burners, even at 2 miles, the construction trailer shakes and it is impossible to hear anything whether you are shouting or not. The raw power is incredible.

This is more of a thing for photographers than for pilots. In SoCal and here in SE AZ, I've seen F-16s, A-10s, and FA-18s fly NOE over mountains and roll inverted on other side. We live in an MOA and C-130s fly NOE all the time but can't roll inverted on the decent. I'll bet that some crew members use it as a chance to go weightless.
