One Elyanna having unknowingly benefitted from oppression and unlawful occupation her whole propagandized life, the other having to write a heart wrenching tribute and prayer as she grieves the loss of her people. This song made me sob uncontrollably for almost half an hour when I first heard it. I haven’t cried like that since I was a kid 30 years ago. My maternal grandmother lived under Nazi oppression and the allied bombing in Berlin - while my paternal grandfather bombed Berlin - so my heart is with all innocent victims of war. …but I have a special place in my heart for Palestinians. I haven’t been this sad and angry in my entire life.

Every time i listen to this song, my heart bleeds for the little children killed in Palestine. This phrase hits hard ''And the world is sleeping on a hurt child''. I feel so guilty and helpless for not being able to save them. I pray every days and nights for them, hoping to see some lights in their life. I don't remember having cry so much in my life. For more than 2months i cry for people i did not know before, now i feel they are part of my life. These poor children i will never forget them. never.
