In regards to the packaging materials....if you have a store in your town that mails packages they will be glad to take peanuts, puffy plastic pillow things and perhaps bubble wrap if it is large enough. So excited to watch your renovation and I know that God was watching out for you in regards to the dump swamp parcel of land. You were Blessed that the deal fell through. Y'all have a Blessed day and Happy Mother's day tomorrow.

You should put an ad up for packing supplies and see if anyone is moving that could use the boxes and packing supplies they came with. A suggestion, you should build a run for your chickens and ducks with a top on it so they have a secure place at night to go to and in the day light the birds of prey can't see them!

Thankyou for updating us on the "land" and camper. No apologies necessary. You made the right decision to not go through with the purchase of the other property. That property would have been a "LOT" of work. As for the camper, I had wondered how you were going to bring it to Nova Scotia anyway. Good to hear a young couple purchased it. Many of us "older couples" can remember how tough it was just starting out, there's always someone there at that critical moment to lend a hand. Knowing you were there to "pay it forward" is a great feeling. Looking forward to future episodes of your new adventure.💝😊

Packaging CAN be reused, even the styrofoam! If you are planning flower beds and gardens the cardboard can be laid on the ground to block weeds and grass and as it deteriorates it feeds the ground. The styrofoam, break it into small pieces and use it to fill the bottoms of deep planter boxes and containers that you are using to grow flowers/vegetables in. It helps with drainage in a huge way and keeps you from having to use as much soil in each container. As to the dump site on the "original" property, maybe you can organize a clean up effort in your area and use that as a way to get to know your neighbors.

Actually you can reuse styrofoam (make a water feature with cement) liner for the plastic. Mulch the cardboard for garden or after mulch is dried on a screen loosely mix with titebond wood glue and shape into any form you want. It's kinda like paper mache. We used it to replace wood (cause it so expensive right now) but it's light but strong. Paint with either epoxy or varnish for water seal. Many Blessings you guys and congratulations. Love Mea 🙏😁
