ELYSIAN DROP TROOPERS - Brave Helldivers | Warhammer 40k Lore

Today we shall elucidate the Astra Militarum regiment: The Elysian Drop Troopers.
Descending from the heavens as among the most well armed and armoured regiments of the Imperial Guard, to be a Helldiver of Elysia is to be among the most elite mortal warriors of the Imperium.
Their home=system rife with Eldar and Human raiders, the trials to become a Drop Trooper have hardened their skill with Lasguns and Autoguns to the point where even in the thick of battle there are among the finest marksmen of the Guard.

Imperial Airborne!!! Must be sweet to be a guardsman that has that sweet state of the art Carapace armor rather than the usual Flak armor every other grunt has to put up with. Those bullpup style lasguns look the business.

Elysian Drop Troops are perhaps a more dangerous fighting force considering they are a volunteer force compared to the rest of the Imperial Guard Regiments are conscripted from a young age or everyone is considered a soldier, but the Drop Troops are still an advanced fighting for they are a combine arms fighting force.
