I have the magic hour and venetian rose, it's so flattering, I always pair it with every makeup look. Things i do notice that this formula have slightly shimmer in it. The shimmer really show up on your lips tho, especially the magic hour and venetian rose.

Yeah I was surprised to see the shimmers! The adverts are really quite deceptive, I've found lol. They look so sheer on the website, almost like nothing. But it's more pigmented than it seems. Idm that though since they've exceeded my expectations 😅

LOL yesss! I was also most drawn to that shade as well! That’s why I picked it up before I ended up getting the rest of them. I was actually thinking of doing a Venetian rose look because when I got the Lip Cushion in Venetian Rose I got the blush with it too! 👀👀 might need to actually do that now!

I have Venetian Rose and Magic hour i personally love venetian rose on me. We are very similar skin tone. I need to get the two new shades because i love this probably one of my favorites lip product this year. It is similar to Tarte Juicy Lip except the em cosmetics has no scent. This is a lipbalm with a tint it looks absolutely gorgeous on anyone ☺️

Yes! I have been waiting for someone to compare both of them. They both have the same twist to dispense, thick formula, but i do noticed that the lip cushion only have 2 moisturizing ingredients while the tarte one packs full of oils and fruit extract!

So glad I found this! Was looking everywhere for these lip swatches! Have you tried the cle de peau refined lip luminizers? They have the same packaging and are both soft and pigmented. Was wondering how those compared to lip cushion since I love them but not their price tag 🙃 either way they look great on you and the swatches definitely help!!

I think so! Most of my base products are labeled “medium” and range in the medium section of things. I’m def not deep and I’m def not light either. What do you think I would be considered? Maybe I’m like a light medium 🧐

Rainier Cramer I’m around your skin tone too, maybe a bit darker (especially after the summer!). I think we’re definitely more of a bronzed light. When I think medium I think more about tones common amongst people of South Asian/African descent. We are definitely considered medium by some makeup brands. But if you think about what dark or deep is relative to that, well, it ends up being not so dark or deep, which is100% seen in their shade ranges 😂😂
