I had the same issue with the laziness brought about by this virus. I recently went to a relatively known garage in my area to get my E46 M3 bumper repainted (god bless the rock chips). I told them “I don’t care the time frame and the cost, I just want a great quality job”. They ended up stalling me for weeks since the virus had “stressed them out in ways that affects their skills”. I took my car and swung it somewhere else.

Hey Matt, I'm considering making the move from Collinite to ceramic coating for my Mustang. I know Gtechniq has a trim-specific product, but do you just apply CSL and EXO to porous black trim? Does it have a restorative effect or would you need to use something like Solution Finish first?

Try cleaning the plastic with Meguiar's 39 first. Then see how it looks. It will probably be good to CSL/EXO right afterwards.

If I were looking for a consultant on that car I would hit up Joey from the Stickydiljoe channel/The Chronicles site maybe. You are both KZbinrs, make friends. Matt, I'm good with polishing and sealants/waxes. Going to do my first CSL/EXO on my personal car. Looks easy enough, the only thing that makes me feel unsure is when to swap out the suede and towels so the stuff doesn't dry and scratch. You said it would get grabby, do it then or just do it every 2 or 3 panels? Trying to figure out the balance between safe and not wasting $. Thank you.

Hey Matt, great video. Love the way the civic is gracefully being pampered to your ultra high standards of flawless car prep. You surely have Midas Touch my friend. Also, I had a question. I am super pumped and inspired from you to prep, correct and coat my car. I have a 2 month old Mazda3. Planning to use sonax perfect finish paired up with yellow Rupes pad on my LHR15. I got Kamikaze collection Miyabi and ISM COAT. The only problem is, I do not have the luxury of a garage to keep my car in between coats. What would your advice be. The area I am planning to do isn’t directly in sunlight. Thanks in advance. Can’t wait to see what’s next in your project pipeline.😉

What's the story behind this EM1? Where did you get it? I saw this EBP EM1 a while back (Oct 2017) for sale on bringatrailer.com? Was that you that won it?
