5:04 That is the tighest pocket ever played in human history. No doubt locking in that 2 and 4 snare for the pasic crowd. Damn. The clarity and density of that notation over tight pocket is the best Ive heard. GOAT

Such an amazing drummer. One of the fastest I've ever seen and never seems to lose a step. I saw him playing live with Suicidal Tendencies of all people years ago and my jaw was on the floor. The way they accent the drum and how it fits with the groove, rock and metal is more of a speed and power game, funk gospel and jazz is generally more finessed and dynamic.

No Doubt my friend. I have 2 I use. A piccolo snare and a regular, if I could find a place for my deep snare would love it. But you for sure no about those church snares. Maybe its just the place we really notice. I also have a brand new Alesis Electronic Set with rack, double bass, I have tried to get that church snare sound on them I'm so close with the tuning, adjusting the pitch nope still havent found it. Now I no what I'm going to do today. Mr. Eric Moore keeps flashing those killer DopeStickz while playing still not out yet, can't wait I think he is tauntinge with those In every video. have a great day stay safe out there. and have a great weekend. you dawsonw128 will be put in my prayers tonight. 😎🤝🤝🤜🤛👍👆☝🥁🥁🥁🥁🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😇

My friend asked me why he has so many cymbals, and I responded "Because he's goddamn Eric Moore!'
@FanaticDrummer5 жыл бұрын
My response is, why does a guitar have so many frets? Why does a keyboard have so many keys? Why does a singer use so many lyrics? Why does a painter use so many colors? I honestly hate that question. Drummers dont need 4 cymbals, thats just boring. Just like a 4 color painting is boring.
@ashimotoakai95994 жыл бұрын
@@FanaticDrummer Not necassarilly. Lots of black and white art is very appealling. My belief is that you need to be able to make use of black and white before you can make use of colors. The same for guitar and keys and piano. Be able to play with 6 strings first, be able to play with 40 keys first be able to color shade and draw with black and white first then you can move on. It's not a stupid question to ask: "Why does he have so many cymbals?" Because the answer can give you a broad perspective on the drummers style, the music he plays and how he utilizes it in the music he's playing. I don't ask other people but I ask my self many times, in Funk how would I use my stacks how would I use my crash? How many cymbals do I have, if I don't have many how many different sounds can I produce with them. So on and so forth, so sometimes you should have a conversation with yourself or another enthusiast friend with the concrete hard love for music about these things.
