I'm wondering if all the features of Emacs, plugins and all would work properly on Windows..😅 For competitive programming I am using Far Manager in Windows but I am planning to shift to Doom Emacs (with Vim keybindings). I have downloaded Emacs for Windows so far it works but not sure about plugins a lot of those doesn't work in Windows.

@@arunray2986 hi, I did use Emacs on windows for the last three years of uni and a little for six months, later in my career.. Wsl2 is a non negotiable, and you should definitely check that out.. Everything works other than some contorted flows as far as I remember (zotero connector with windows firefox/edge for instance).. You shouldn't have any issues for CP as I did use it during my remote interviews and you have the ability to have custom snippets for any language you prefer.. So, to add on to your wonderings, yes, for you, you'll have all features you may need initially.. Btw, would definitely recommend a unix based OS for your long term intellectual curiosity as a programmer though Have a good one
