What a great product! I have 600 hours on my Carbon Cub with no Issues! Great starts and fuel burn at cruse. I love the looks I get when A&Ps ask me about the timing procedure! I would like to see a You Tube video on inspection, shaft play etc. My apologies if there is one and missed it! Actually, I will call them tomorrow morning 11/25 /24 and ask! Highly recommended. Been flying Alaska for 50 years. Wish I could put them on my certificated aircraft.......maybe someday!

Impressed so far because this Lyc 4 cyl design is a simpler installation with light weight and a decent range of timing that isn't sucking amps in cruise.

This would be a really nice upgrade for my Cardinal. The current Electronic Dual Mag replacement requires a seperate battery back-up. This would eliminate that.

Yes. The ability to self power after start takes it next level for electronic ignition in my option. Like Brad said it’s the best of both worlds.

I haven’t been able to get an estimate yet. The FAA process has been a slow one… it could perhaps be later this summer, but I really don’t have nothing to go on other than they’re getting closer.

Great question, you’ll just need a battery for starting. After 500 rpms, I believe it’s self powers then. I’ll ask Brad if you’d like? I can see what people are doing that don’t have a electrical system.

Yes. E-Mag shows about 70% benefit with just one installed. I’m actually installing just one, replacing the impulse coupling for my next engine to start with.
