What is the effect of under voltage to efficiency of induction motor

Low voltage can lead to overheating, shortened life, reduced starting ability, and reduced torque. Meaning the effect on the motor is to cause it to be "hard-to-start" as related to "pullout torque" ultimately lending to shortening of motor life.
