Eman is the perfet Ezra, and Ezra is a character we love so much. I cannot imagine anyone else, but Eman. (offtopic: Still remember Kara Thrace, so good one, too!)

I was actually shocked by how well Eman embodied the character. When Katee came in as Bo-Katan in Season 2 of Mando, it was like the animated character had simply walked into real life. But that made sense. It was the same actor. When Ezra showed up at the end of Ahsoka, I got the exact same feeling; he was Ezra! This was the character from the animated show now strolled into live action... despite being an entirely new casting. Edit: Before Ezra, I've never seen a recast where the actor managed to bring something of their own to the table whilst still making it 100% convincing that it was the same character. There's always something jarring about a recast, but not this one!

He’s an amazing Ezra. It’s very apparent that he understood and respected the character. I loved Ahsoka even with the issues it has with the writing I still had a good time with it. I think the Kai Patterson cut is better and I mean that with the utmost respect but if you have some time to watch it please do so.

I must admit, it was an inspired piece of casting, and not only does Mr Esfandi look like Ezra, he portrayed him brilliantly too! The one highlight in an otherwise non-entity of a show. 🍄

I dont know what it is, I guess humility or even just respect, to name someone who, while seemingly miniscule at first, had enough impact to influence the decision that led to his current position. Great casting choice. I love it when they go out of their way to find people who actually look like and embody these characters, rather than just picking from the usual bag of A List celebrities. I like it when these characters can have their own identities! Eman IS live action Ezra to me now

In my opinion, Rebels was minor fun but endurable but it’s really lacking in comparison to George Lucas Clone wars series, in my opinion there’s no room for a crossover to real life series it’s just to pathetic as almost every thing is ( safe for the Mandalorean ) that comes out of the three at the helm of what is the sinking ship called “ Star Wars Disney “ and I’d say let’s scuttle the ship even further and hope for more lore accurate movie and series there’s more then enough material so that Disney can and must fire the three responsible for the disaster that Star Wars is and that includes second rade actors and writers
