Jonny Craig and Dallas Green's voices are the reason I subliminally live. Dance Gavin Dance & Alexisonfire is what carried me through my teenage years. Sweet nostalgia, I miss this. Probably most underrated groups of the 21st century.

I ache, it's opening my soul, my soul I ache, it's opening Speak what we feel, and not what we ought to say Well, I'm forever young and you're forever young So much to say, but nothing to hide Oh, please open it all Soft voice that whispers lies Who do I lay beside? Soft voice, soft voice that whispers lies Well, I don't want to see it anymore Too bad he's not me and these feelings you just can't ignore But I won't be played a fool Well, I don't want to see it anymore Too bad he's not me and these feelings you just can't ignore But I won't be played a fool Did you count how many times the words left my mouth? So many times I was pressed on top You never pushed me off As much as it hurts to admit, you just... Well, I don't want to see it anymore Too bad he's not me and these feelings you just can't ignore But I won't be played a fool Well, I don't want to see it anymore Too bad he's not me and these feelings you just can't ignore But I won't be played a fool No matter how hard you try, these words won't save me Please stop to mind your space Soft hands that would ruin lives and eyes that would burn Fall to your knees You pretend not to see our problems Because they form inside you Well, I don't want to see it anymore Too bad he's not me and these feelings you just can't ignore But I won't be played a fool Well, I don't want to see it anymore Too bad he's not me and these feelings you just can't ignore But I won't be played a fool Well, I don't want to see it anymore Too bad he's not me and these feelings you just can't ignore But I won't be played a fool Well, I don't want to see it anymore Too bad he's not me and these feelings you just can't ignore But I won't be played a fool

if you listen to the whole album he is wishing for her to come back, how hes lost everything, nothing without her, if only she would. & then this the final song on the album she finally responds with the words he knew she thought all this time & after so much time & so many realizations this is the response. im sure so many people including me can relate & its simply perfect, so beautiful, so powerful. this album sure is a peach :)

I couldn't agree more! I feel that way with all of the bands he's been in honestly. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED Kurt Travis in Dance Gavin Dance, but Jonny's voice is too unique. He makes any band honestly.
@ofallmyintention94966 жыл бұрын
I prefer Jonny in Dance Gavin Dance and Emarosa, and I like Kurt Travis in A Lot Like Birds. Tilian Pearson has a nice voice, and the new singer of Emarosa isn't bad, but none of them come close to Jonny's range. The thing that sets Kurt apart is the fact that he does both unclean and clean vocals so well.

What worries people about Jonny is that he has a damn gifted voice, it's difficult to find a vocalist like him. But you're right: a good song is the result of ALL the musicians working together, not just the lead singer; but most people tend to pay more attention to him because is what is in the front most of the time. I hope they'll find a vocal just as good as him; even if it's difficult, Impossible is nothing. I salute you :).
@BreaBreakdown12 жыл бұрын
I love reading the comments and seeing everyone thinking they know more about an artist than everyone else and trying to prove everyone wrong. How about you just shut up and listen to the music? People put videos on here for people to enjoy them, not argue about them. So what if he does heroin? So what if he's not rich? So WHAT? Who cares? It's not like he's encouraging it. This is on here for the enjoyment of his MUSIC.
@Sail0rKatiex12 жыл бұрын
You can all sit here & insult him & bash him for his mistakes, but really think about yourself before doing so, you're telling me you're perfect? You're a saint, right? You've never made mistakes, right? No, that's insane, we've all made mistakes, some of us are just in denial, at least he's doing what he can to do better, but yet people still wanna bring him down, I don't get it? Someone's past doesn't define who they are. "Every saint has a past & every sinner has a future."
@Swansen0312 жыл бұрын
best example most can relate to are people, addictions to people, and what most label "love" and what comes when they get attached to others in relationships. we do very stupid and crazy things because we get addicted to people. drugs are just some other thing, we don't label people horrid because they get addicted to people, its just easier to do so when society labels something 'bad',
