I can't even start to express my gratitude. Your entire free course is a blessing. The amount of knowledge i got from a random video i clicked in desperation to improve my skills is insane!! I haven't commented on any channel videos as much as I have commented here. Every time I have a doubt and I feel you have missed to cover it, I see it in the upcoming sections. Of course there are also other youtube channels that have helped me a lot but this entire video has put all the concepts I learnt in perspective. Keep making such videos and I would suggest you go in depth for the topics you have covered in your 2 part series. That would surely help boost your channel even more.

Its excellent course for both spring boot as well as micro services.The thing that is missing is transaction management between different microservices. For eg:In e commerce if we do order(Order micro service and payment microservice both should write in db right?Suppose if order micro service writes and payment microservice failed to write in its db).How will we manage it?Because a transaction should be either fully done or reverted right?

I'm not sure if this part is covered in the later part of the video but you have missed the load balancing part in service discovery. If there are multiple instances of a MS then requests should be distributed to all the instances or if any instance goes down, the other MS instance should handle the request. because our friend forgot to remove all ports in application k8s properties, if you run the image on k8s with postgres : 5432 / company it won't work, because the cluster isn't close that port. You need to edit wthout the port; // postgres / company. Apply the same for other properties and ports.

What if a microservice is implemented in some other technology like golang or python, how can that be integrated in eureka? How this eureka will fit in k8s?
@EmbarkX11 ай бұрын
To integrate microservices in Golang or Python with Eureka: -> Use a sidecar proxy like Ribbon or Spring Cloud Consul. -> Implement Eureka client functionality in your microservice using available libraries or frameworks. -> If needed, implement custom integration by directly interacting with Eureka's REST API.
