As Arduino uses the super loop architecture so there is no clear mention of main function and in a c program main function is vital element. Refer the arm MCU coding, there always main function is present hence it is embedded c. But Arduino language can't be clearly stated as embedded C. It's a combination of c/c++ specially designed for Arduino itself
