Looks like a proper piece of kit, obviously a lot of time and effort has gone into this product. I love everything about it but I especially like the rubber line grip which enables you to move the hook bait to exactly where you want it in the feeder and the curved bottom so it isn't like a brick when it enters the water. All the people at Map have done a Fantastic job creating this feeder, so well done everyone and I for one will definitely be giving this bad boy a run out this year. 👍

I like the idea of keeping the hook within the footprint of the feeder but does the rubber line grip not stop the hook from turning and hooking the fish as it sucks it in?

I always thought MAP were ahead of their game with the interchangeable system but let down by their build this seems a game changer I hope someone from MAP reads this and makes cage feeders/maggot feeders ECT ECT interchangeable to this standard

Only for the method feeder, not for the hybrids. I use them from time to time to pop up the bait 2-3 cm from the bottom when the fishes moody and it seems to do the job.

I myself bought some last month...only one held in place I fish with 7 lb hook length, I'd need 25 - 30 lb for it to be held in place..not Impressed!

I have sorted it out myself by removing the line clip bit and using a float stop on my hook length to hold it in place it still holds in place and adjusts and comes free when needed to😊

Hi - To get the line into the grip you need to apply pressure from both sides of the grip and push down, ideally with no bait inside the feeder then once the line is in the grip load the feeder as normal. If you have a look at our other video on Embed Feeder fishing, Michael Buchwalder shows exactly how to do this.
