There are lots of great visuals and graphics in this, and the explanation is good. The sound quality could be better, just in terms of how easy it is to hear about what you are saying clearly. Also, I didn't finish the video yet, but while parallel can definitely transfer more data at one instant, it is easier to drive serial communications at a higher speed or clock rate, so, for example with ATA, things have intentionally gone serial to make overall speeds higher with SATA, and that trend is also seen in multiple ways and places -- very fast serial transfers versus more speed-limited parallel transfers.

Really good explanation. Got the basics and it shows how the UART is derived. Thanks!!! (y)

There are a couple of typos or misspellings, which are more minor than the sub-optimal sound quality which is the only real disadvantage of the video. 'acquirate' should be 'accurate". 'Fixed' is pronounced "fixt" by most Americans and often "FIX ed" by most other English speakers, but is always written "fixed".
