Legislation and external scrutiny mean that human rights are receiving increasing attention from business. But how far and deep does that attention currently go, and how should companies be thinking about developing their policies and practices in this area?
Dr Dorothée Baumann-Pauly, Director of the Geneva Center for Business and Human Rights, and Aaron Campbell, a corporate lawyer, join Professor Chris Cowton, Associate Director of the Institute of Business Ethics to discuss how far businesses are addressing human rights, how early and widely they are considering them, and how business models might be adjusted to align with a corporate human rights commitment.
