Very dramatic backstory Blaze had back in the game Sonic the Hedgehog 2006. Where Silver was left behind after Blaze was selected a sacrifice to the flame of destruction due to this act using the emeralds.

Not in the sense they're non binary, but as a creature of undying fire and rage, the concept of gender has no meaning to Iblis. Now, on a non canonical approach to this, I have seen many a headcanon that Iblis' disguised form would look like Blaze, similar to how Mephiles takes the form of Shadow.

That was brilliant! You could really feel Blaze's panic & terror. I enjoyed the hints of the 06 events leading into the creation of the Sol Dimension, which I think was supposedly the original intention? I always liked it anyway. This also reminded me how much I miss Marine being featured in Sonic media. I loved her voice and mannerisms here! Still waiting for Sonic team to make Blaze, Marine, and Silver into an official Trio...

As someone who doesn't understand 100% this game lore (or Sonic lore in general), can you please explain how the events of 06 created the Sol Dimension? I'm genuinely curious about it

@@tob9834 As with many things in the Sonic lore, it's not too well explained to be honest ha-ha. But I do remember seeing a note that when Blaze sealed Iblis within her at the end of Silver's story in 06, she didn't die, but sealed herself in another dimension. A lot of it then is filling in the gaps, like a combination of Iblis being sealed within her through the chaos emeralds is what created the Sol Emeralds in the Sol Dimension etc. As I've said, it's mostly filling in gaps between breadcrumb notes from developers on how they're connected. That's my knowledge at least - someone else may have better details than I, or remember the source that I seemed to have lost

I've had a few headcanons myself. How the Iblis Timeline never came to be, stranding Silver through time and space. Silver is all that's left of that reality, he's the only one who truly remembers. Now he wanders time and space, searching desperately for his friend.

This shows that even though Solaris was erased, the time shift still left lingering memories on those who are directly involved with Solaris, as shown by Elise when she gets a deja vu after Sonic zoom by. Since Blaze was currently a new host of Iblis before the time paradox, she still have the memories but distorted into nightmares.

Wow ! I've never seen Blaze so scared like this before ! Actually I think I've never seen her like this at all. You can really see & hear her panic & terror, she really looks & sounds like she's about to break down & have a panic attack. Poor Blaze. She's always so strong & confident..... this really is a new side of her, I wish we could explore more often. I like the hints, that she remembers the events of 06 & that it might be a prequel to Rush. Maybe that's Iblis inside her soul, talking to her, trying to break free ? (nah I'm just joking....unless ? You think Iblis is still inside of her ?) "I am right where you left me". And the switch to Mephiles for a split second.... And who is that mysterious voice ? Anyway, I like all these little hints, I am having 100 theories again Also Marine was the funniest part. I didnt understand half the things she said, but I love her accent, it's amusing XD Also who is steering the ship ? XD I loved that part & seeing Blaze happy again. And.....may I just say how beautyfull that night sky is ? I actually find Marine annyoing in Rush Adventure but fans make me like her - mostly cuz the voice, funny accent & things she says XD Aaaaw everytime I relate more & more to Blaze. Marine is the comic relief & friend, she doesnt want but needed. Her not wanting to be hugged & talk about it...but needing it. Yup that could totally be me. The way how Blaze is so strong but also seeing her panicking.....she really is so strong. I also struggle with.....alot of things. And I just like seeing representation in fictional characters, without trying to romantise or hide the ugly, truths. It's so important to alot of people & makes me relate to the characters only more. Blaze's voice actress, really did an incredible job there, with all the emotions, it sounds so real & makes me feel bad for Blaze !

Man Sega really needs to give these three some ACTUAL PROPER IMPORTANT ROLES in a future game because I feel like its just all Sonic now and the others are just more or less side characters that are just there for the sake of being there and have little importance to the story. THIS VERY REASON is why I would be down to have a Blaze the Cat game and Silver should be in it Plus it would be a perfect opportunity to explore some of the unanswered mysteries in the Sol dimension. I would also like Captain Metal to be in it because he seriously makes for a great villain. Love how you used the end credits music of Sonic Rush Adventure at the end. Happy sailing adventures to the three of them.

Ok, this is amazing. The animations are smooth and emotive, matching the feel of each scene be it serious or comedic. The VA's did an amazing job, Sydney Paige in particular makes for an amazing Blaze and Rioodies proves Marine can sound very endearing. Simple plot but it all works so well together; that funny ending with the crash was very important. Instant sub. Honestly this would be a perfect fit for Marine if Sonic Team decides to start using her again. Even without the '06 and Silver elements, Blaze is still a child simultaneously protecting the Sol Emeralds and running an Empire. Having Marine around to lighten the mood, comfort her and just make her laugh would be a big stress relief and grounded perspective for Blaze. Simultaneously, Blaze can be a guiding voice of reason and mentor for Marine as she grows and develops her abilities (maybe revisit that power she had at the end of Sonic Rush Adventures).

Saw the Blaze clip on Twitter, and I can confidently say, this did not disappoint. The animation is amazing, the voice cast did a stellar job, Marine is amazing in this, and the facial expressions are awesome.
