As always great video and great format! I think common Esmeralda should be a 4/3 in Nevenka cause it helps you draw the Bastion that enable most of your plays

Honestly lyra festival R seems so good in theory. You play from reverse that's fleeting. Cast this that's 2 you only need more to win the game. I feel like doable

Absolutely! I actually feel like the combo is really easy to assemble and the biggest problem is that one removal can blow it up and you might not have the resources to try again on the next day.

​@@TricksterCGI honestly feel like the threat of festival alone is the power of the card. I definitely get frustrated when I have to make a subpar play in order to be able to prevent my opp from winning. I could drop my 6 mana boss monster.... But if I do my opp may drop a festival on me and win. So in a way it forces your opponent to slow down and ensure he can destroy your festival if you drop it. Definitely can catch some ppl sleeping if they get out of line

Hi Trick, thanks for your vids! Content idea: I would love to see one or more videos with general matchmaking suggestions, tips and tricks while playing against each hero...! E.g. Which cards are best to keep in hand, which general strategy is better against each hero, which are the best and worst matchups and why, and so on... Would be great, and ultra helpful I think!

I'm running Lyra festival and the hatter has been a big trap for me, too expensive, easily sabotaged, anchoring sucks until your big turn. In festival sandman is a 3 mana issotoq to me and i love that it saves you a valuable expedition on that turn

Sandman is AMAZING for festival! Some of the cards that I rated lower in this review would get a higher score if we were talking about festival decks specifically.

The Sandman will almost certainly get played in Lyra Festival decks .... where people decide to play that strategy.

This is a good point. I put a focus on the non-festival versions of decks here because I think they will be more competitive; however, festival could be a valid option and some cards would get a higher rating for that kind of deck.

I am a fan of Mighty Jinn too and I agree with your ratings, but I think it will get cut from Nevenka.

Makes sense. You already have to set up the bastion as one slow turn and have other good things to be doing around the time you want to play mighty jinn.

I think the Lyra bastion should be rated higher for Nevenka. Its effect raises a roll looking for any of 3 numbers from 50% to 75%. Not only that but it allows to take the value of the player's choosing, which potentially grants the possibility of choosing the effect you want to apply. For example when exhausting Nevenka in some situations it could be better to add a boost instead of anchoring a character. The common is still too expensive, but 3 rare Lyra bastions should be mandatory in a Nevenka deck.

I can see how the card helps Nevenka a lot! The common got a low score because I think almost all players will choose to use the rare instead. But like you are saying I agree the rare will be mandatory!

You know i was gonna write this, but festival on auraq is at least a 2/3 , festival requires 3 minions and playing 1 for free with auraq on his performance turn is pretty good! Definitely not competitive though :D

I think so too, I just love Lyra Festival (even if it's not competitive) and the dream of hitting my final combo piece (with those in my hand) with Auraq off the top is not dead yet.

@@SgtLix surely fen and crowbar get you 0.5 a card every turn as value but the fact you can't choose is so nasty I'd rather draw 1 card every 3, then 2 turns with auraq , + you can cheat mana on top of that sometimes. Kodama is a cheap sleep, Aloe vera is a brilliant 3 mana anchor target even without boost it contributes to a 4/4/8 with a 1 resupply over time .

@@viktordjambov1437 exactly my thought process! I wanted to do a Fen Lyra festival deck, but I just know that I will resource all instances of Lyra festival with Fen's effect.

There are some good points made in this discussion! I can see how even if you don't play the card you get with Auraq it is at least an extra draw every few turns with the potential to get a valuable combo piece too. The festival version could really come together! The main reason I like Fen is because it is easier to get anchor if you get the right resupply but she is more likely to put your sleep cards in the reserve too where their hand effect won't trigger. I'll have to try out both hero and see which is more consistent!

@@TricksterCG What?! You play Bo3? My locals does Bo1 :/ Which honestly sucks because I think we only have 4 players max at locals.

@@chilogutierrez695 unfortunately the game is a tough length to play multiple rounds! I've mostly played online but the one time my locals had an event we played draft and it was bo1 too :/
