I was a student at U of I while the dome was being built. That was an exciting time. It is a fun and comfortable place to watch a game. I missed the great Fall games in perfect Moscow autumn weather, but in the winter you were really glad you had it. The translucent panels really made a huge improvement. Also - the new basketball arena is beautiful and make excellent use of wood. Check it out.

I drove from Va to that red rocking chair beside this stadium 🏟 I was so exhausted I wish I would of went over to the kiby to see it better. I was so exhausted, was born Baltimore, lol Never saw anything like driving out to here. Beautiful

I was on the sideline for that missed-call field goal vs. EWU. Stopped the game for a good 20 minutes, everyone was baffled. I didn't know it'd happened before that too.

The Superior Dome in Marquette, Michigan is also a wooden dome. Northern Michigan University's football team plays there

I've had the pleasure of playing in the Kibbie Dome very unique place too play and yes the playing surface was most certainly a parking lot painted green with white stripes and numbers it was also a very unique and special place to play nothing but great memories oh and also 3-0 !!
