I was adopted by pākeha, I only found out that I was Māori when I was 52. I have been on a waiting list for the reo Māori course for 3yrs, the taking up space is very real.

I don’t know if you’re still waiting, but online courses is the way to go in this instance whānau! Te Wānanga is brilliant.
