Hi LeJean. Yes these are very easy to do on the SE1900. I would float the item on the hoop.

Do you use a regular 75/11 ballpoint needle or do you use a sharp needle?

Does your machine not have the red laser? I notice you have to watch the needle to see if it's centered?

Hi Michelle, The six needle machine has the red laser. The 10 needle machine does not. It scans the image.

I am currently trying to embroider one of these quilts. I have tried 3 times and every time it bird nests.....what would you suggest. I am using medium weight cut away stabilizer ( 1 layer). My quilt is kind of thin.

If you are getting birds nest that means you are not threading the machine correctly.
