@@Corrupt-R I listened to awakening and it was great. I really appreciate that you're doing something unique. I'm a big fan of metal, especially djenty stuff. When you listen to enough you realize how it can get formulaic and just plain boring. You're doing something new and that's really inspiring to me. It makes me want to work harder on my own music. So thanks a lot Marc!

Cool touch with the string instrumentals. Not hard hitting but the solo around 3:44 sounded great. A short switch to some hijaz scale towards 4:23 maybe? Awakening album is still my favorite as I enjoy the high energy / upbeat djent. Still I'm happy that you are active my man. I'll listen to anything you put out. (Also cool artwork on this one)

Hello! Hey thanks so much for the thoughtful and detailed feedback, really appreciate it! Glad you enjoyed the song too, happy to hear it! You make an interesting point about the new material vs "Awakening", I agree it's not quite as high energy, and maybe not as dark in tone? As I move into the second part of this story I feel like I've been drawn more toward these types of songs that aren't as hard hitting necessarily, but maybe more melodic? It's interesting as a song writer where your mind takes you, it kind of seems out of your control on a certain level, you just go with the flow of what you hear in your head. There are lots of songs left to write for this album however, and the story takes some dark twists, so no doubt there will be some more upbeat djent songs to come! The third album is based on a lot of conflict story wise, and may be the most upbeat of the trilogy, but that's a ways off. Anyway kind of rambling, but you got me thinking a lot about these songs on a different level, thanks for that! And thanks for your support with all of the music, truly means a lot to me!

@@Corrupt-R It's nice that you're exploring different things - this makes you even more creative. Lots of bands also change their tune over time. If you like what you produce, others will too : ) Free minds produce great work and I like yours. Not that it matters but I quite liked Intervals - Touch and Go which was swift and happy sounding. Shades of Black: Ocean was an amazing album with great ambience and eastern vibes. Fractalize has dark and heavy songs that are just goopy. Different songs with different moods. Yours strike different emotions as well. Always looking forward to listening to your tracks without comparison. Especially rest of this album. Thanks for sharing and being you

@Ultra Mega Chicken Wow thanks so much! Really made my day! Really appreciate the kind words, thank you. I do really love the idea of heavy music mixed with something more beautiful and melodic. When done right the contrast between the two is really awesome. I'm not sure I always pull it off, but that's usually what I'm going for

Great track! Would make a great theme for a sci-fi action movie! The image reminds me of a old school Fear Factory album or EP.
