A great tune and a great homage to the Street of Rage music. I'm partial to FM music as well, having been exposed to Adlib goodness a long time ago :) Nice presentation too, thanks for the explanations!

Beat 'em ups haven't got a great history on the C64. Several notables ones great on other systems but severely cut down for C64 include Golden Axe and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles where they have lost their 2 player mode and have a very strict limit on how many enemies they have at any one time. So yeah Golden Axe is basically one player versus one enemy at any time, yet the Spectrum and CPC ports have 2 players versus several enemies at a time. It's bizarre. But hey that could be the fun challenge. Finally making a decent Golden Axe/SoR inspired game for the C64. There are talented devs out there doing nice things for the C64 and they have access to far more convienent and powerful tools than devs had back in the 80s and 90s. So who knows what might happen? :) (I should point out that the CPC is my fave 8-bit and always has been but for past decade or so I've been supporting many systems cos all that playground arguing is pointless for vintage machines, we can all just enjoy all the games on any of those systems whether buyig the original hardware or emulating them and I've often bought and enjoyed new games for Spec and C64 as well as my CPC so yeah I'm often interested in cool looking new C64 action games :D )

Awesome. I have an FM YAM, but I don't quite get the step in between... How to compile both the two compositions together so they play simultaneously D:

Hey it's your friend that isn't a synth, not used this as I dont have an fm cart, looks like you do it an assembler, were you normally have to sid playing in the interrupts you would get the fm file from edlib playing as well and then faff about to get them in sync.

@@avrilcadabra Yeah, pretty much this. Faff is correct - it's quite time-consuming, but very satisfying when things work out!

Should work if you enable the Sound Expander option to OPL2 in the core Menu
