Can you add a Handwheel / Pendent hard wired to the Acorn and still have the use of the encoder input

No. Centroid sells a wireless MPG that works quite well. The one encoder port on Acorn is intended as an input for a spindle encoder.

@@mactec54 Just had a price increase. Its a good value for the money. Works quite well. But yes, you also have to get the PRO license. There are keyboard short cuts for everything, you might be able to find something that you can program the short cuts. It will also use a Contour Shuttle Express (Like the Tormachs)
