Its so soothing to watch you play tenors. I played them in high school and it was such a stress reliever. It gives me reverse PTSD to watch you play. You are really good.

Back when I marched around 2013-2016 I actually rigged my quad pad to an old Pearl carrier rail so I could practice marching and playing. It was really beneficial! Brought it to a few camps for drum corps and the staff was actually impressed I figured out how to do it.

Fun fact, pintech sells plastuccymbals for whatever size you need. I use them for practice, especially indoors where I don't want to bother my neighbors and I don't want to risk dropping. But yeah we kind already have practice cymbals pads

Love RamPad. Best pad I’ve ever owned and I’ve tried a LOT of different pads. Not to mention the owner is super easy to reach out to if you have any questions/concerns. Currently saving up for my own tenor pad!

I LOVE my RamPad. I was gonna get the pro but I didn't want to spend $90 so I got the regular RamPad marching pad, I accidentally cranked the lugs too much because I wanted a marching snare sound so my pad looks a bit weird, but it still works and sounds great so it's not broken!!!
@siren12388Ай бұрын
I like that idea of a marching tenor pad i would buy because i can practice my playing zones while moving because currently i suck at it but its my first year on tenors so yeah i would by that

The lady next door to my high school called the cops on the band with a noise complaint. In our county, the high school had to get the approval to buy the land, so she had no grounds for it. My band teacher was annoyed by the cop call and set the drumline to practice facing the brick wall opposite her house. I think if she'd known these existed, she'd have bought them for us.

Add a Yamaha EAD10 to that setup and you've got a lightweight marching rig that has line out.

It mostly depends on where you will be using it. If the program/school you will be using at uses Pearl, then this would be the best choice. Likewise with Yamaha/Ludwig/Mapex, and or Tama.
