Waaaa beyond excited to have an Eventing Vlog back on my channel! It’s a little sooner that even I was expecting but think it’s safe to say we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Bless little Addie, she did so well for her first event and you can see over time she is going to make a cracking event pony.Everyone who has produced a young horse know it can be challenging but you and Addie have done so well together and you to are an excellent partnership. Although there were ups and downs just look at the difference from when you first got her to now going to her first event. She also looked so smart all plated up and her colour is gorgeous.🤍

Congrats! She's an event horse, now!! And she handled it all so well. Her first dressage test looked a lot like my buckskin mare's first dressage test a couple years ago. I definitely know the feeling! Nothing like baby's first show!

Ahhh this is so exciting! My first event with my 4 year old I finished on nearly 100 penalties due to 20 time in both showjumping and cross country but I have never been so pleased with the results!

​@@emdeventingI would highly recommend using the checklist recommended in The Humane Hierarchy (a model in which training methods are ranked from least to most invasive) . A lot of us are guilty of fixing the symptom without getting to the root of the problem (eg Addie might be throwing her head because her saddle doesn't fit). Not saying it's the case with you, but it's helped me dig a bit deeper as, unfortunately, our animals can't talk to us (which would make a lot of things easier to solve!)
