Chairman, you're entirely wrong about everything so i would advise you to get the whole story...the actions of the MP was indeed silly and the woman isn't arrogant, she just employed the principle at Proverbs 26:5...but didn't employ it in the right context. What made her act in that manner? In context, what comments came from the MP and why did the MP initially act in a certain manner? The MP in parliament said he didn't know her, did nothing to her etc but he approached her to provoke her. Any organism is passive and neutral until it is stimulated by a stimulus which it merely responds to... It's bad for her to have used those derogatory remarks. Did you even bother to consider she saying she wouldn't entertain any sort of bully? Did you find out what the MP did? Parliament is not a place for bullying others and intimidating them. If the MP was polite in his communication, i don't think the woman would have reacted in that respect. I may be wrong and i stand corrected. I condemn the fact that people are bashing her without employing cultural relativism and situationism to understand the actual event before passing comments. Again, i would advise you to refrain from politicizing the issue and address it as a general societal issue cuz that gives way to many party fanatics to redirect the course to cloud the truth and reality of the issue and prevents us from properly addressing the issue. Her right to fair trial, her moral and natural rights are being abused for we have failed as a society to hear her and to get to know the whole truth from both parties and the immediate witnesses. We can do better as a society. And please, the fact that the MP did something similar and did not take responsibility for his own actions does not mean such a behavior must be entertained in our society for i believe the MPs conscience, if not today, will serve as an internal sanction to him for him to also change. After elections, partisan politics are not needed and must not be entertained. It's like Ghanaians and our politicians, especially our MPs, have forgotten about the prescriptive aspect of the constitution and we tend to belittle ourselves to dirty politics where minority intentionally distract government business, hobble policies, etc; and majority ignore the constructive criticisms from minority and fail to reason with them... Election is over, let's all come together to constructively address issues and help build our country. I mean no disrespect, so kindly forgive me if I made some foul comments.
