Emeli Sandé recently became the Chancellor at the University of Sunderland and decided that her first move would be to award her parents their long-awaited degrees. They originally missed their graduation ceremony after finding out that mum Diane was pregnant with Emeli. The new album 'Real Life' is out now and is the first album after Emeli took a brief hiatus.
